Can This Be Love? (Fanboy X reader)

Bullied

It was the end of the school and you were putting stuff away in your locker. You looked around for Fanboy and Chum chum, but they were nowhere in sight. "Huh... That's weird..." The creepy thing was, you were the only one in the hallway. Suddenly you heard laughing and shouting "Fight! Fight! Fight!" Your eyes widen and ran to where you heard the cheering. There was a big crowd in the hallway and you squeezed right through them to get to the front of the scene. When you got to the front you gasped, you couldn't believe your eyes. Fanboy was being punched and kicked by Duke leaning against the lockers, Chum chum was held back by his guy buddies, he was trying to escape to help Fanboy. Fanboy looked scared as tears rolled down his cheek as Duke kept punching him and sometimes scratching him "You're pathetic! You're a freak! your 'girlfriend' (Y/n) doesn't love you!" He started laughing along with his buddies. Fanboy was sobbing covering his face "P-please stop.." He sobbed while hiccuping. His nose was bleeding and his face was covered in light bruises.

Your face turned dark red with anger, then you shouted "Hey!!" You got everyone's attention, everyone stared at you quickly and that's when Duke and his buddies faces went pale. You ran up to Duke and punched him in face without any regrets. He fell on the ground groaning while holding his nose. You glared at his friends "Let.him.go.now." Duke's friends let Chum chum go quickly as Chum chum ran to you and hid behind your legs. "I'm only gonna say this once! So listen up! If anyone and I mean anyone, hurts my Fanboy ever again, you'll hear it from me!! And I won't hesitate to hunt you down! Now go!!" You shouted with rage. Everyone ran outside quickly even the bullies.

You breathed in and out slowly then turned to Fanboy who was crying with his hands covering his eyes. You ran to him quickly and bended down to him "Fanboy? Are you alright?" You asked worried and Fanboy looked up at you with teary eyes "(Y-Y/n)..." He hugs you tightly and buried his face into your shoulder crying. You hugged him back tightly rubbing his back "Shhhh... I'm here now... It's over my hero..." You whispered in his ear. Chum chum ran to Fanboy and hugged him tightly "I-I'm sorry Fanboy! I-I couldn't do anything!" Chum chum hiccups. Fanboy looks at Chum chum and hugs him back "I-it's not your fault buddy...." He rubs his back gently. You stood up slowly "Come on, we need to get home" you held out your hand and Fanboy held your hand as he stood up weakly. You wrapped his arm around your shoulder as you helped him walk back to the water tower. Chum chum walks beside Fanboy holding his other hand comforting him by rubbing his hand.

Once you made it to the Fanlair, you walked Fanboy to the bathroom and told Chum chum to make hot chocolate and a mayonnaise sandwich. You shut the door in the bathroom and looked at Fanboy who hasn't said a word since they left the school "Fanboy... I need you to remove your cowl..."  Fanboy blushes a little "A-Alright... I want you to do the honor of removing it" your eyes widen a little, this was the first time you would finally see what he looks like without his cowl. You slowly put a hand under his cowl and started to remove it from his face. You blushed a lot once the cowl was off, his hair... Was really light brown hair that was half down to his neck (like in the picture X3) it was beautiful. Fanboy opens eyes a little and looks at you "W-Well..." He shutters and you smiled "It's really beautiful..." You stroke his messy hair softly as he smiles a little. You grab a wash cloth and wipe his face gently, he flinches a little every time you touch his face and he immediately grabs your hand tightly. You kissed his forehead "Shhh... It'll be okay" you whispered in his ear. Soon, you finished cleaning his face "There... How do you feel?..." You asked stroking his hair gently "A little better... Thanks (Y/n)..." You hug him tightly as he hugs back then starts to cry in your shoulder "Shhhh... Let it all out if you need to..." You teared up a little as you held him close to you and Fanboy held on to you tightly crying. You whispered sweet things in his ear while rocking him a little. You felt so bad for him, he was just a kid, he didn't deserve to be treated like this. "Fanboy... Whatever he said is not true... I love you the way you are... I don't ever want you to change... You changed my life... If he can't see that, then he is a jerk... You're a hero in my eyes..." Fanboy looks at you and smiles a little "(Y/n)..." You smiled "There's that smile I love" you giggled "I love you (Y/n).... And thank you for standing up for me..." "You're welcome Fanboy...anything for you" Fanboy kisses you deeply as he held you close and your eyes widen a little, he never kissed this deeply before, but you enjoyed it as you kissed him back putting your hands through his hair. You two pulled back for air as you both breath heavily a little. You both smiled at each other "I... Better put my cowl back on, I don't want to revel my secret identity" he giggled a little "Hold it!" You said as you grabbed a hair brush and brushed his hair slowly "I'm not letting you put on your cowl on until your hair is less messy" you giggled. Fanboy smiled and giggled, he actually enjoyed his hair being brushed.

Once you were done, you put his cowl back on him. "There, there's my hero" you smiled and put your hands on his cheeks as he smiles and did the same "Thank you (Y/n)... You're the best girl I could ever ask for" "and you're the best boy I could ask for" you held his hand and lead him out of the bathroom "Hey Fanboy! I finished making you hot chocolate and sandwich!" Chum chum said running up to him and hugs him tightly. Fanboy smiled and bent down to his friend and hugged him back. Soon, Fanboy ate and enjoyed his mayonnaise sandwich, he was being himself again. That's what you wanted the most, for his sprit to never break. He wraps his arm around you and nuzzles your cheek then you smiled and kissed his cheek.

~Later that night~

You and the boys were asleep in your beds, but you had a feeling that Fanboy wasn't asleep "Hey Fanboy... You asleep?" You whispered turning to his bed "No..." Fanboy whispers back turning to you as well "Do you want me to sleep with you?.." He nods quickly and moves a little to make room for you. You smiled and went over to his bed then laid down next to him. He wraps his arms around your waist as you blush a lot "Thank you... I didn't want to be alone" he said softly laying his head on your head "You're never alone... No one is alone..." You kiss his cheek and nuzzled into his suit. He smiles and kisses your forehead then he nuzzles his nose against yours as you giggled and did the same. "Night (Y/n)... " "Night Fanboy..." You both fell asleep in each others arms holding each other close, never letting go no matter what happens. You and Fanboy would never gonna break apart. You both were safe from anyone. You promised yourself you will protect Fanboy from bullies... You will protect your hero.
