Why...

Fanboy and Chum Chum were walking around the school playground looking for you. A few minutes ago, you told the boys that you would be right back, but you never did. Fanboy started to get worried, he knew that you would never be gone for this long. "(Y/n)!!" Fanboy shouted putting his hands near his mouth "Where are you?!" Chum chum shouted along. But no answer. "Chum Chum... I'm worried" Fanboy looks at his shorter friend "Me too... Let's try looking inside the school again" Chum Chum suggested and Fanboy sighed a little "Okay..." The boys went inside the school walking around the hallways looking for you. Suddenly, the boys heard screaming and shouting, one of the shoutings sounded like you. "That's (Y/n)!" Fanboy ran towards the shouting "W-Wait for me Fanboy!" Chum chum ran after Fanboy.

Fanboy turned the corner and gasps as his eyes widen. He saw Francine punching you multiple times. You were trying to get her off you, but she was so fast that you couldn't move. "I can't believe that! Why did you do it?! Why did you kiss Duke?!" Francine shouted "You knew that he is my boyfriend and yet you kissed him!!" You tried to speak "Francine....I-it wasn't..." Suddenly Francine started choking you interrupting you. "Save your excuse! Now you have to face the consequences!" You tried to breathe as you tried to get her off you, but you were loosing oxygen fast.

Fanboy's face started to get really red. He took off his cowl without thinking as he dropped it on the floor and ran to you and Francine "Fanboy wait!!" Chum Chum shouted, but it was too late. Fanboy grabbed Francine by the collar of her shirt  and slammed her to the lockers. Francine looked at Fanboy angry "Let me go idiot!! I'm not finished with her!!" You started to cough as you finally began breathing again, you looked up slowly "F-Fanboy?..." Chum Chum runs to you and hugs you tightly. Fanboy glares at Francine "You will not lay another hand on (Y/n)!!" Fanboy growled "I'm not the one you're after idiot!! (Y/n) kissed Duke!!" Francine pointed at you. Fanboy froze still holding Francine against the lockers, he turns to you with hurt in his eyes "Is.... Is this true?..." Fanboy choked out with tears in his eyes. You glared at Francine "N-No it's not!" You finally found your voice "He's the one that kissed me! I tried to get him off! But he trapped me, that's when you came Francine!" You growled "Liar!" Francine growled back at you "Duke would never do that to me!" "Oh really? Let me tell you the whole story." You crossed your arms remembering everything that happened.

~Flashback~

You came out of the girls bathroom quickly "Phew... That was close, now to get back to the boys!" You said as you ran down the hallway until you bumped into Duke "Oof!" You both fell groaning then you looked up and saw Duke "Oh Duke! I'm sorry!" You stood up quickly and helped Duke stand up "Oh it's no problem man" he smiled "Hey (Y/n)... Can I talk to you for a moment?" You shivered a little but nodded "Uh sure!" Duke leaded you to the other side of the school, it was a bit dark and creepy "So... Uh.... What did you want to talk about?..." Duke stayed quiet for moment until he pinned you against the lockers. You gasped softly "D-Duke... Wh-What are you?..." You looked at Duke scared "Why...why are you with that idiot?" Duke said coldly really close to your face making you shiver. "Wh-what?.." You were scared out of your mind, you didn't know what to do, he pinned you really tightly. "What does he have that I don't?... I know that he doesn't really love you... But I will..." Duke smirks and you glared at him "He does love me!! He loves him with all his heart!" Duke chuckled "Well... Does he do this?..." Duke leans closer to you "Duke don't do this! You have Francine!" You tried to move away, but it was no use "She'll never find out" he whispered as he kissed you roughly. Your eyes widen and tears were in your eyes. He pitched your side forcing your eyes to close. Suddenly there was a scream and Duke quickly pulled away as his eyes widen, there stood Francine angry clutching her fist "You little traitor!!" Duke ran towards Francine quickly "She kissed me babe!" Your eyes widen "He's lying Francine! He kissed me by force!" Francine growled and ran towards you then started kicking and punching you. Duke quickly ran away from the cat fight having his sweet victory.

~End of Flashback~

"That's what really happened..." You looked up at Fanboy and Francine. Francine growled "I still don't believe you" Fanboy looked at you and smiled a little "I do..." "How can you believe that witch!?" Francine squirmed, but Fanboy slammed Francine against the lockers again and glared at her "Because (Y/n) has a true heart and she would never lie to me!! Now get out and I never want you to go near her again!" Fanboy pushed Francine to the side then ran in front of you putting his arms out. Francine growls quietly looking at you "Don't think that this is over... We are no longer friends..." She walked away slowly out the doors.

Fanboy turns to you and bends down to you "Are you alright(Y/n)?" He said worried as he cradled you in his arms. You smiled a little bleeding from your lip "Yes... I am now..." Fanboy hugs you tightly holding you to his chest "I'm sorry that I was late..." He rests his head on your head as you started to cry a little "I-it's fine... I was just... So scared..." You buried your face in his chest. Fanboy looks down at you and wipes the blood off your lips and kissed you softly, you smiled softly as you kissed him back "Y-You do know that you took off your cowl right?..." Fanboy blushed and rubbed the back of his neck "R-Really?... Ops" he giggled a little. You stroked his hair slowly as he smiled a little "Come on... We better get you home" he stands up slowly carrying you bridal style and you slowly closed your eyes falling asleep. Chum Chum walks next to Fanboy "Th-Think that (Y/n) will be okay?..." Fanboy looks down at you and smiles "Yeah... She'll be fine" he carries you outside slowly and Chum Chum picked up Fanboy's cowl then followed him quickly.

~That night~

You were sitting on the roof of the water tower gazing that the beautiful night. You needed to get some air after what happened today. You sighed softly hugging your knees close to you body gazing at the night sky. "Hey (Y/n)...need some company?" You jumped a little and turned to Fanboy smiling at you without his cowl on still. You smiled and nodded slowly "Yeah... I could use a little company..." Fanboy crawls to you and sat next to you "Pretty night huh?..." You nodded slowly and hummed "Mhm..." Fanboy looks at you "How are you feeling?..." You looked back at him with a grin "A little better I guess..." Fanboy wraps his arm around you and held you close "I'm sorry that happened to you..." You nuzzles his shoulder and stayed silent. "Hey (Y/n)?..." "Hmm?" You hummed "Did... Did I ever tell you my real name?..." Your eyes widen a little, now that you thought about it... He never did tell you is real name "No... I believe that you didn't..." You looked up at him "Well... Would you like to know then?" He holds your hands as you nodded quickly "Okay... It's Lance Corporal Tobias Cranapple Fannboy the third" your eyes widen a little then giggled "So... Your name is Lance?" He nodded slowly grinning "Yep!" "You could've just said your first name you know" you grinned "But then it would've been boring!" You started to laugh for the first time in a while "You're adorable you know that?" You smiled "Indeed I do!" He kissed your cheek "And... You're allowed to call me Lance if you want" he smiled as you smiled back at him "I was going to anyway...and you should really keep your cowl off" Fanboy rubs his hair "Really?" You nodded quickly "It makes you even more cute" he giggled and blushed "I'll have to think about that" he hugs you tightly "I love you (Y/n)" you hugged him back smiling "I love you too Lance" you both stayed like that for a while, just holding each other close in the moonlight. "Wanna go inside now?" Fanboy asks standing up slowly and holding out his hand. You smiled and grabbed his hand "Sure" Fanboy helped you stand up and you both went inside hand in hand.
