The Story Of Amelia Pond (Ch 1)

I'm Amelia Pond. The first thing you ought to know about me is I have a friend. My friend is named the doctor and he's a raggedy man with a big blue box; he showed up in my garden in the middle of the night a few nights when my Aunt was out late. He had come to fix the crack in my wall. He promised me he'd be back in five minutes but he never came back- maybe he got stuck in traffic? Surely there's traffic where he goes, right? I really hope he comes back. Melody and Rory don't believe he's real- that he's a figure of my imagination, something in my head but they're wrong. He's real- I know he is and he came to fix the crack in my wall.

Oh, right the crack in my wall. It's a big crack and my Aunt says it's just a crack but it's not. At night I hear voices talking about Prisoner Zero- whatever that is but apparently it's escaped. I really hope it hasn't escaped into my house. I haven't seen anyone around my house so I don't think it has.

"Amelia?" I run downstairs quickly.

"Yes, Aunt Katie?" I asked, taking a stumbling halt in front of her. (AN: I know Amy's Aunt was probably not named Katie but just go along with it, okay? I can't even remember if she lived with her aunt- I'll rewatch few episodes when I can.)

"Did you clean your room?" She asked, her arms crossing over her chest.

"Yea. Yea- I did." I answered, nodding.

"Then go let Melody and Rory in." She stated, turning back to whatever it was she was cooking. I ran to the door, opening it quickly- Melody pushing past me and Rory waiting to be allowed in. I shut the door behind Rory and followed Mel upstairs Rory close behind me. Mel was already laid out on my bed, searching through my pictures on my nightstand in which I quickly snatched from her.

"Is that the raggedy man you keep going on about?" She smirked.

"Yes it is!" I answered, hugging the papers close to my chest.

"Amelia has a crush! Amelia has a crush!" Melody chanted, sitting up.

"I do not!" I defended.

"Can I see those pictures, Amelia?" Rory asked, sitting in my chair.

"Yes, of course!" I stated, sticking my tongue out at Mel. I handed the drawings over to Rory.

"I was just kidding." Mel sated, looking at the small knick knacks on my desk. "It's not like he's real anyway."

"He is too!" I argued, "He came to fix the crack."

"Why would you fix the crack?" Mel asked, running her fingers across it. "It's cool. You said you hear voices?"

"Yea." I answered, "They always talk about Prisoner Zero- whatever that means."

"Maybe he's escaped in your house." She grinned, wiggling her fingers as if she was telling a ghost story.

"He hasn't." I stated, shaking my head as I scrunched my nose. "I would know."

"Maybe he's a ghost or an alien!" She stated, looking excited. "We could be like ghost hunters!"

"No- no that's not a good idea." Rory chimed in, shaking his head. He sat my drawings on my desk.

This is my first Doctor Who fanfiction let's see how it goes...
