"Matt what happened?? Tell me."
"Madi. Ben's been in a car accident."
"omg! What how who when what where??? Is he okay?? Nevermind let's just go see him no" I was cut of before I could finish little did I know the car accident was the least of my worries.
"Madi listen I love u with all my heart but listen, we can't see Ben because he's having serious surgery and could die."
"No,no,no stop lying to me Matt, Ben's alive an well he's at my parents house eating pancakes like he does everyday" and with that I broke down into tears and crashed to the floor crying and sobbing into Matt's arms. I didn't like life could get much worse until Dillon came and saw the whole thing.
"Madi whose this Ben guy and why r u crying into Matt's arms and not mine?"
I stared at Dillon in utter shock as to what to say, "I uh need someone to talk to and u weren't there and uhh I saw Matt and uhh." The lies just keep spilling out of me and all I wanted to do was see my son. I got myself together and just left Dillon there speechless as I ran to Matt's care and told him to step on it.
"Madi he's going to be fine, the doctors r doing everything they can to help Ben."
"What if it's not enough?? I need Ben Matt do u not get he's the only thing good about life between all the shit I have with Dillon and u in my life!!!! Ugh ur such a guy!!!"
"Fine if that's how u feel get out and find another ride since ur being a bitch now he's my son to and he's a part of me. Plus I make u happy since I'm him do u not see that I love him as much or even more than u do. You will never get the pain I see everyday when I see u with Dillon I love u and Ben more than life its self."
I stare at Matt. I never knew I meant that much to him.
"Matt.... Why didn't u tell me?"
"I couldn't, will talk later we're here, let's go see Ben."
