As I was standing in the hospital looking and my family all I could think about was how broken down we were. The man I truly loved was Matt. Dillion and Danny were just flings but I couldn't stand the thought of me leaving either of them; they just all meant too much to me.
"MUMMY!! Don't make me leave! I just want you and daddy!" Kirsten bellowed. I couldn't look her in the eyes as she would see right through me. For a 4 year old she was way too smart.
As my face dropped and I couldn't even fake a smile Matt just looked over at me and said, "Madi, I have so many things to ask you and I'm unbelievably pissed but are you okay?"
I immediately broke down. What was I suppose to say. My son is dying and my daughter just got abandoned by her asshole of a father and Dillion knows I've been lying to him. Instead I just replied "I'm fine. Let's go find out what happened to Ben."
Once we find the doctor they said they were able to get his seizing under control but then his heart stopped. They were trying to resuscitate him as we were talking. I ran. I just ran.
