"It's a girl!" He announced! We all jumped with excitement. I started tearing and so did Cameron.
"Little Jessica!" I yelled and cried into Cameron.
"7 months old." Cameron muffled into my shoulder.
"I know." So Jessica, my mom, and Cameron all went home that night, with baby Jessica.

"What should the color be?" I asked Cameron as we looked for colors to paint the nursery.
"Blue.
"No.."
"Yellow?"
"Ew no."
"Red."
"No."
"I don't know!" Cameron laughed.
"How about.. A pastel purple?"
"Sure." Cameron agreed.
"Oh look at this!" Cameron said and showed me a onesie that said 'lock up your sons, my daddy has guns.' Imprinted on it.
"Um no." I said
"What! Why? It's so cute and true."
"You? Owning a gun? No way."
"Fine" he said annoyed.
"How about this one?" He said again holding up another onesie. It was pink and had the words "I ❤️ Daddy"
"Awe it's cute!"
"Can we get it?" He said eagerly like a 4 year old wanting a dog.
"Yeah." I said. He put it in the buggy and we went to check out.

"Look at what I made!" Jessica said as she popped in the nursery as me and Cam were painting. I turned around and saw a painting she painted. It was a pastel pink with the words "Jessica Amy" painted in cursive.
"Awwwwwee Jess it's beautiful." I said and hugged her.
"Thank you." Cameron said.
"No problem." Jessica smiled confidently.
"Let's hang it.. Here." I said and put it over the crib.
"What if it falls?" He said.
"It won't." I reassured him.
"Ok." He said.
We finished painting a week later. It was beautiful. Especially with Jessica's painting.
"It's beautiful." Cam said and put his head on my shoulder and wrapped his arms around me.
"I know."
