" What the fuck was that!? " Rico whispered.
" Sounded like a trumpet...Sebastian does your battery have enough charge to use the back flashlight? " Samantha asked.
" Yeah it has a good charge on it. " I said turning it on.
" Let me see it. " She said reaching for it.
I handed her my phone and we watched as she propped it on the dresser. She took out what looked like some rusted old metal pocket watch, she then took out a small razor pricked her finger and dripped a few drops of blood on it. The pocket watch began to glow bright red and slowly opened shining a small beam of light on the wall behind us. We turned to see the numbers 7.6.9 flash slowly.
" Samantha what the hell is that? " Rico asked confused.
" It's called the Satanic Moon Clock mother gave it to me. She always told me that the day I hear Gabriel's trumpet blow to check it. It's supposed to detect the number of years, months and weeks we have left here on Earth. Mother made a deal with Satan to sacrifice all souls bound to Hell to him each 6th hour of the 6th day of the week and 6th month. Each year I watched her murder kids and not just ones like you...she murdered any and everyone who sinned no matter how small or big it was. It kept the End at bay but the moment we fled is the moment the clock began. You two was supposed to die along with four other kids. " She murmured.
" You knew we was going to die and you smiled in our faces! You fucking pretended everything was fine! " Rico yelled.
" I'm sorry okay! But why the fuck do you think I told you! You two are my friends...I couldn't let her kill you for her insane satanic devotion. " She cried.
" HEY! STOP IT! ALL THAT DOSE NOT MATTER ANYMORE! OKAY WHAT MATTER NOW IS TRYING TO FUCKING SURVIVE! " I screamed. " Samantha do you know anyone who can protect us? Because your mother is not going to stop until she kills us probably even you. "
" Well, my uncle but he lives in Tokyo...It will be easy to get there considering the fact everyone is panicking we can just take someone's boat or something. I don't know I'm can't think straight I'm sorry... "
" No...It's smart considering the fact that's the only idea we have at the moment. Everyone get whatever you can grab we're leaving now. "
We all started grabbing random things without thinking. I don't know if we couldn't think straight because the world was ending outside our door or exhaustion but we weren't ourselves. We didn't say a word just listened to the cries and pleas of everyone outside. It was like everything behind the door was playing seven minutes in Hell....
