Christina's POV:

Once I passed the state line going into New York, I felt a weight that was now lifted off my shoulders. Looking beside me I saw the twins cuddled up together in the seat. Sighing, I drove though the outer parts of New York looking for a hotel or at least a motel.

Pulling into the cheap motel I found, I parked the truck and slammed the door closed. Going around the side grabbing the overnight bag, and the twins I carried them to the front desk. It was a small front lobby with no special decorating, a few painting here and there. After signing in I grabbed the key from the sketchy looking old lady and walked to the room I was given. It was a pale yellow with a popcorn paint ceiling. It had a queen sized bed against the wall on the right side of the room. It had a small window on the opposite wall with a small flat screen TV in the corner. There was two doors in the room; one was the way to the hallway, and the other was the door to a small bathroom that I was scared to even go into. Walking to the bed I dropped the bag to the floor putting the twins in the bed, I covered them up with the heavy blanket. I did the same for myself, falling onto the bed I sighed, snuggling into the pillow, I fell fast asleep.
