Changing into a panther

Rex came with us because I wanted him close to me, I think he does too. I keep bugging him to shift into his human form but he won't, grrrrrrrr!! I think he finds it funny that it is getting me mad, that he won't shift after all he is one of my mates. When we got in the house Alpha Ricky and Alpha Matt are sitting in the living room with Ryan. They turn to us when we walked in, then they saw Rex. "Why the hell is there a panther in my house?" Alpha Ricky yelled when he saw him. I growled at him for that my panther not liking how he talked about our mate like that.

"Did......" he trailed off once he saw my eyes, I knew my panther is out.

"He is you panthers mate isn't he?" He asked. I nodded.

"How do u know about my panther?" I asked him.

"I was told to keep it a secret by your parents before they past." He said, I nooded while looking sad thinking of my parents. I knelt down and started to pet Rex.

"Don't touch him I am suppose to be your mate." Ryan said, that made Rex and I growl at the same time.

      I tried to stand back up but failed by pain. I screamed in pain then I heard bones crack and they weren't mine, before I blacked out the last thing I saw was Rex in human form.

When I woke up I was on all fours. I looked up and saw everyone staring at me, I knew some people and some I don't know.  I tried to shift back but couldn't, I whimpered at that. Rex rushed to my side trying to help me but it did not work he just fell down next to me, which was funny to me. Then he shift into his panther, his was black as silk, I went next to him and I lick him on the snout which shock him for a minute then he licked me back. When we made eye contact with each everything around us seemed like it wasn't there. It was like we were in our own little world, which I liked.

       Someone coughed which brought us back to reality. Some point during that I shift back to my human form. I looked up to see my friends still in the room with us. I was know I was blushing, I looked over to Rex and saw he was looking at me, then something just dawn on me, I don't even know his last name "Ummmm..........Rex what is your last name?"

"Its......Ummmm.....Smith?"  He said, my question most of not what he was suspected because it came out like a question when he answered me. I looked back at my friends staring at something behind them, that made get up and look as well. I saw a shadow of something but I don't know what of, then it just disappear. I didn't know it then but he was one of my mates.

         I turned back to my friends to ask what that is, but when I open my mouth to say something.............
