Narrator (POV)
"Daddddddddddddddd!" called Ali from the curved staircase. "I can't find my graduation cap." she whinned.
"Here," smirked Ali's stepbrother Elijah. Ali snatched it from his grip. "Nevermind!" Ali called.
Ali's Dad and Mrs. Asha had been married for two years now. It brought new changes. Ali's new step siblings, Elijah and Mia. Elijah was a couple months older than Ali, he was 18 years and had just graduated a week before. Mia was 12 years old. A loud rowdy girl. Of course Mia helped Ali with shopping and boys, and her vocal lessons. Mia was quite talented herself. Elijah however was annoying. His room was right next to Ali's. He had taken the guestroom and when Ali's parents were out, he would bring endless girls in the house and play loud trap music. But Ali felt protected by her step brother. She finally felt like a family or rather she had a family.
"You know I didn't steal your cap last week when you were getting ready to graduate." sighed Ali.
"Sorry sis Mia had it she said she wants to graduate today too." he laughed.
"Get out!" laughed Ali closing the door in Elijah's face.
Ali placed her cap on her dominican blownout straightened hair. She placed another coat of pink lipstick on her lips and smiled at her reflection in the mirror. After her graduation, she was going on tour! Around the world. She smiled. She was nervous..but she anticipated this moment. All the countless rehearsals, vocal lessons, choreography lessons she was ready. She was finally confident in herself and what she was doing.
"Ali dear we have to go! You'll be late!" called Asha.
Ali smoothed her gown and took one last look at her goregeous spring white graduation dress, with her white wedges to match. She was ready.
"Coming!" called Ali gently walking down the stairs trying not to trip.
"Justin's here." called Mia.
"Thanks, open the door for him, he's coming to my graduation too." smiled Ali.
Justin and Ali were still friends. And just friends, Ali made sure of that. Justin looked different now, of course because he was 18, but he looked like a man. Mustache and beard, and a curly dominican bush sitting on top of his head.
"Hi Ali," he smiled. "Congrats" he said pulling in her a hug.
"Wait wait, let me get a picture of you too!" yelled Asha running straight towards them with a nikon camera in her hand.
"Ash!," cried Ali in embarassment. "We have to go."
AND SNAPPP!
"There, you guys look adorable. Get one with your Dad and sis Ali!" ushered.
Ali groaned and took what felt like a million pictures before they left for her graduation.
As soon as they got to the school, Ali raced into the auditorium to meet up with Dee and Cara.
"There you are fool!" squealed Cara in her white girl voice. "We panicked girl." she laughed.
Cara and Dee were going on tour with Ali too which made her feel so much better. To have her best friends with her on tour. Funny thing is, Ali wasn't exactly sure who she was touring with. Her Dad said it'd be a surprise.
"Sorry guys, Ash made me take like a million pics before I left," laughed Ali.
"Sounds like the photographer your Dad married." laughed Dee. "Ahhh I'm so glad we are done with High School. College at UCLA is going to be heaven, I can sense it now, all of the fine ass sons of celebrities will be waiting by my dormroom."
