Chapter 3
Ali (POV)
I had spent that last two days packing to go on tour. According to my sources which was Asha, I was going to be opening up for Ciara. This made me feel even more nervous.
I've been practicing, taking vocal and piano lessons for three years now and traning at ADMA helped me so much. I knew I was physically prepared to perform, but not mentally. This was a huge tour, I don't know if I'm ready.
I sat down on my bed and sighed, tomorrow is my birthday. I'll finally be legal. I have no clue what I'm doing to be honest. Cara and Dee are acting real funny, even Justin. He said he has to prepare for Keke and his anniversary. I laugh at the thought. Justin and Keke being engaged? I refused to believe it. His parents especially his abuela would never go for that. Never
"ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII", exclaimed Mia busting through her bedroom door.
"I thought I locked that door." I groaned.
"I got a extra key made," grinned Mia. Mia was so adorable. She had short brown hair and a mouth ful of braces.
"Anyways, I have some gossip for you." smirked Mia.
I looked at Mia and tried not to laugh. I guess watching 2 hours of Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl has gotten to her. I decided to play along.
"Who's the gossip about?" I asked.
"You!." she smirked pointing in my direction.
"Ok what does it involve?" I asked.
"Cara and Dee." she smirked.
"Okkk," I giggled, "What about them."
Mia shook her head.
"Pay up." she ordered.
I sighed. "How much?"
"$20 will do." smirked Mia with her devish smile.
"Here" I mumbled throwing the $20 dollar bill.
"I overheard Dee and Cara talking and they have something special planned for your birthday tonight"
"Really?" I whispered to myself.
"Yup! Nice doing business with ya sis." she smiled walking out the room.
Funny thing is I already knew what they have planned for me, a surprise party. They are so predictable. I through my feet up in the air in excitement. I usually don't like parties. I haven't been to one in years. I wasn't planning on drinking or anything but hell I might as well, I'm 18.
I grabbed my phone and called Cara and Dee.
"Heyyy girl," said Dee. "You have a birthday in 7 hours, how do ya feel?" she asked.
"OMG OMG OMG!, we should have one last sleepover," cheered Cara in her high squeaky voice.
"We aren't kids anymore Cara, we should go to the club!" said Dee.
"The club? We aren't 21 yet!" Cara laughed.
Dee sighed.
"There are a lot of clubs in L.A. that allow 18 and up Cara." I replied.
"Oh, bummer, I guess we should go to the club then." offered Cara.
"I don't think my Dad and Asha are gonna go for that. I'm gonna have to sneak out. Plus I'm not even ready, I don't have a dress and all the new heels I bought are packed." I sighed.
