Don't play the music yet.
Let's start off at the very beginning
I was born into a family of a kind and gentle mother and a... Uh... What's the word?... Oh heartless that's the word... Heartless father. My mother was a baker and my father was... Well you guessed it... A hunter. He would slaughter innocent creatures with the excuse of, "Their pests". I've always hated my father.
One day, when I was 5, my parents had a horrible fight and my mother told me to go play outside. All I could hear were the sounds of my father yelling and my mother being beaten and crying. Sat against a tree with my head tucked into my knees, sobbing. I felt something rub against my arm. I looked down and saw a whimpering wolf pup.
I knew that wolves were dangerous and that I should never touch a pup or cub or the momma would have the scent of me and hunt me down, but this wolf looked lonely and hurt. I let him sniff my hand before I picked him up, then I laid him on my lap. I looked on his paws to find a thorn stuck in his paw. I touched it and he growled at me. "Don't worry I just want to help", I said trying to calm him down but he kept growling every time I touched the thorn. Then finally I had an idea. (You can play the music now)
I know there's something
In the wake of your smileI get a notion from the look
In your eyes
YeahYou've built a love
But love falls apartYour little piece of heaven
Turns to darkListen to your heart
When he's calling for you
Listen to your heart
There's nothing else you can do
I don't know where you're going
And I don't know why
But listen to your heartBefore you tell him goodbye
Sometimes you wonder
If this fight is worthwhileThe precious moments
Are all lost in the tide
YeahTheir swept away
And nothing is what it seemsThe feeling of belonging
To your dreamsListen to your heart
When he's calling for you
Listen to your heart
There's nothing else you can do
I don't know where you're going
And I don't know why
But listen to your heartBefore you tell him good bye
And there are voices
That want to be heardSo much to mention
But you can't find the wordsThe scent of magic
The beauty that's beenWhen love was wilder
Than the windListen to your heart
When he's calling for you
Listen to your heart
There's nothing else you can do
I don't know where you're going
And I don't know why
But listen to your heartBefore you tell him good bye
Listen to your heart
I don't know where you're going
And I don't know why
But listen to your heartBefore
You tell him good bye
When I finished the song I smirked. The wolf lay on my lap, asleep. I gently pulled out the thorn which caused him to whimper but he fell back to sleep. I started petting the wolf which made him smile.
I heard my mother call my name. I looked down at the wolf pup then at the forest. I picked him up and brought him to the edge of the forest. I laid him down gently and he looked up at me with puppy eyes. "Don't worry, I'll come back", I smiled. He seemed to smile back.
I hope you all enjoyed!
~Ciao
