|Okay, new story, begin! Hi followers and guests, this is my new story, When Legendaries Show. The information might be inaccurate, genderwise I mean. People debate about the legendaries' genders, but I'm doing it the way I see it. So if you want to complain, complain to your pillow. Anyway, I got inspiration from Darkpetal16, a user I found on fanfiction.net. So if you want to, go check her out! Okay readers, onwards to the story! Also feel free to ask questions. Lizz out!|
"Okay Liana, take your time."
Liana, who had just turned ten that day, was picking out her first pokémon. The three pokémon eagerly stared up at her. Fennekin, the fire type Fox pokémon, wagged her tail in anticipation. Froakie, the water type Bubble Frog pokémon, was practially bouncing in place. And last but not least, Chespin, the grass type Spiny Nut pokémon, stared at her with big puppy eyes. She easily decided on Fennekin. Fire type pokémon were her dream; they were so beautiful and elegant. Well, sometimes elegant.
"Fennekin," she told Professor Sycamore, determination in her voice.
"Alright, here's his pokéball."
The professor handed her the small ball, she took it without hesitation. It grew in her hand, and she called Fennekin back into it.
"Thank you so much!" Liana practially hugged him.
"Heh, no problem. Now be safe on your journey, a world filled with wonder and pokémon awaits you."
And with that, Liana was off.
She had said her goodbyes to everyone, and had gotten a bike to travel quicker. Her journey was truely beginning! Right as she walked out the door, a familiar voice called her name.
"Liana!"
Liana turned to see her older brother, Devin, run up to her.
"So, who'd you choose?" Her brother asked, although he probably already knew.
"Fennekin," Liana held out her pokéball.
Devin chuckled. "Thought so, so where are you going first?" He asked.
She shrugged. "I'm just gonna pick a route and go."
"Okay, well, good luck! I'm heading out to go earn my sixth gym badge."
Devin waved goodbye and ran off, calling out his Talonflame, Flamecutter, and flying off in the direction of the fairy type gym. Liana sighed, looking at her pokéball.
"I guess I should give you a nickname..." She muttered, calling out her new friend.
Fennekin landed on the ground in front of her, his ears were twitching with excitement. Liana stared at him for a second, taking in what he was doing. He seemed curious and twitchy, taking in everything he could. That's it!
"I'll call you Curiosity!" She said in triumph.
Curiosity looked up at her and bounced around excitedly. Liana picked him up, carrying him towards the nearest route entrance. She stopped in front of route five, and took a deep breath. This was officially the start of her journey. Curiosity reached a paw towards the exit, and Liana walked through it.
When she reached the other side, she looked around. It was her first time out of Lumiose city, and she was excited to see wild pokémon. Devin had said that most of them were friendly, so she didn't have to worry. Liana kept walking, and stopped for a second to look at something. It was a tail, a small pink tail hanging out of a tree. She walked up to it, and grabbed it. The pokémon that was attached to it yanked its tail out of her and, and it disappeared into the tree.
"Hm, weird," Liana shrugged.
She was about to turn away when the pokémon poked its head out of the tree. Liana pulled out her pokédex.
'A Mew is said to possess the genes if all pokémon. It is capable of making itself invisible at will, so it entirely avoids notice even if it approaches people.'
Liana looked back at the Mew, then gasped. Mew was one of the legendary pokémon that her father told her about.
It's not nice to grab people's tails like that, but I'll let it slide.
Liana just stared at her.
Hello? Mew waved a tiny hand in front of Liana's face.
She shook her head. "Sorry! It's just, you're a legendary..."
So she is.
Liana turned around to meet the new voice. Another Pokémon was standing there. She pulled out her pokédex.
That pokédex won't help you, not against most legendaries anyway.
"W-Who are you?" Liana studdered.
Mewtwo, and you've met Mew.
"Fen! Fennekin!" Curiosity barked.
Hey! Don't be so rude!
"What did he say?"
He told us that we were weirdos and told us to go away!
Liana gasped. "Curiosity! Don't be so mean!"
Curiosity just turned his nose away. Mew and Mewtwo looked at each other.
I think it's time we left.
"What? But I just met you!" Liana protested.
And now we're saying goodbye.
Liana reached in her bag, pulling out a purple pokéball. It had an 'M' on it. Her brother had given it to her, and said that it could catch any pokémon without fail. 'This is called a masterball. Use it wisely.' He had said. If she caught one of them, they couldn't leave. Right as she was about to throw the purple ball, a flash of light happened and a new pokémon floated in front of her. In pure shock, she threw the special ball at it. It was sucked in side.
One rock.
Two rock.
Three rock.
Click.
Whatever she had thrown it at was now hers.
Mew and Mewtwo gasped in shock.
Oh no! Mew wailed.
This is bad, this is really bad!
She picked up the masterball and looked at it.
"What was that?" Liana asked, still recovering from the sudden flash.
You... You just caught... Mew's sentence trailed off.
"Caught what?"
Arceus. You just caught Arceus.
