And more to come!|

The air around them was moist, and Liana couldn't see very far. Glowing crystals were the only thing that guided her in the right direction. Curiosity was bouncing a few steps ahead of her, looking at the colorful crystals. She heard screeching up ahead.

Can you do anything right? I told you to get me Kebia Berries!

Liana poked her head through the cave opening. She saw Yveltal on a giant stone perch. His blue gaze was locked on a Froakie, who was holding a bunch of Starf Berries. A couple of them had dropped, and the poor starter was shaking. She looked around and saw a boy tied up.

"Give me back my Froakie!" He yelled.

Yveltal turned his head towards him.

Why should I listen to a puny trainer like you?

Liana had had enough. She stepped out into the open.

"Yveltal, enough!" She growled.

Yveltal looked at her, his blue eyes scanning her.

Give me a good reason why I should listen to you instead of capturing you as well?

"Arceus probably wouldn't be happy to know that you captured a trainer and his Pokémon."

Arceus? What does he have to do with this?

She pulled out an ID that Mew had given to her in case the other legendaries gave her a hard time. She held it out towards the legendary bird. Yveltal stared at it, then jumped off his perch. He mumbled something that Liana couldn't hear, then ripped the rope off of the boy. He jumped up and ran over to his Froakie, hugging him. Liana walked over to them.

"Thank you so much for helping Froakie and I!" The boy turned towards her, extending his hand. "I'm Zed."

She shook his hand. "I'm Liana, and no problem."

She looked at Yveltal. "You sir, have a lot of explaining to do if you don't want to get in trouble."

Yveltal dipped his head.

Very well. I got hungry and I don't like day light. The cover of the darkness makes me feel comfortable, so I patrol during the night. These two just happened to wander down here, so I captured them. They have no right to wander around in my home.

"You should've just shooed them off, not capture them!"

Tsk.

Liana sighed, then pulled out her notebook.

"What did you find or see on your last patrol?"

Nothing. Not much really happens where I'm supposed to patrol.

She wrote that down, then started heading out, Zed and Froakie following. She screamed when she got lifted off her feet, then realized it was Yveltal carrying them out. He placed them next to her Talonflame, then flew back into his hole.

"Thanks again for helping us," Zed thanked Liana again.

"No problem."

"So, who are you anyway?"

"It's not important, but I got to run," she told him, walking up to Scarlet Storm.

"Can I come?" Zed asked.

"No."

"Aw, come on, please?"

"No, go back to your journey."

"Fine, see you later then?"

"Sure, see you later."

Zed ran off with Froakie, heading towards the nearest town. Liana got on Scarlet Storm, Curiosity close behind her. Scarlet Storm climbed into the air.

"Where to now?" The Talonflame asked.

"Let's go to Xerneas now," Liana told her, looking at the names on the list.

Scarlet Storm went off in the direction of a lush forest. She could see Fletchlings flying through the trees. Scarlet Storm flew to the center of the forest, then dove. They flew along the forest floor until they came to a small clearing with a lake. Xerneas was laying near it. She looked over at them as they approached.

Hello.

She greeted them.

"Hi, my name is Liana. I'm going around and checking on all the legendaries so Arceus doesn't have to," Liana explained.

Interesting choice.

Liana winced. Interesting choice? She didn't know whether that was good or bad.

"I'm just here to make sure you're okay, since you're being targetted."

I'll be fine on my own. Giratina watches me to make sure nothing happens.

"Watches you? How could he possibly watch you?" Liana asked, confused.

Xerneas looked down at the lake, touching it and causing the water to ripple.

He can see through things that have reflections. In his world, they're like windows.

"So... He could see through mirrors?"

Yes.

Liana shivered. It's like a creepy stalker that you never see.

"So you're fine?"

Yes.

"Well... Okay, see you."

Liana jumped on top of Scarlet Storm's back, where Curiosity was already waiting. They took off into the air.

"Where to?" Scarlet asked.

"Back to home base. The sun is going down," Liana instructed.

Scarlet Storm nodded and flew off in the direction of the floating temple. Curiosity curled up in Liana's lap, drifting into sleep. Tomorrow she would be visiting Diance, then she would call Giratina. She sighed. They flew through the barrier around the temple, landing on the marble floor. Arceus was talking to Mew at the end of the long hall. She hopped off of Scarlet Storm, leaving Curiosity there to sleep. She took in a deep breath, and walked towards Arceus to give her first report.
