Summer '09 (a Louis Tomlinson fanfic)

Chapter 6

*2 weeks later*

"I'm going out bye!" I ran out the room before my parents could stope me

Once I stepped outside the hotel I saw the familiar face of my new best friend "Louiiiiiiis!" I said excitedly, I ran to him and hugged him tightly

"Nice to see you too love" he chuckled

For the past two weeks Louis and I have been hanging out every single day. We've gotten along so well he always knows how to make me laugh he's a great guy and I know we only met two weeks ago but he's definitely someone I would want in my life forever.

"What are we doing today?" I asked a little too excited

He laughed "You're so adorable" he pinged my cheek causing me to blush "Well maybe we can go for a walk at the beach"

"Sounds good" I smiled, it's a good thing I decided to wear my swimming suit under my clothes

We walked beside each other to the beach it was a nice calming day today it wasn't too hot nor too cold, the wind blew through my hair, it was nice.

I gazed at Louis who was starring at me. I smiled at him before he returned his attention to where we were heading to. I found myself admiring every feature of him. I'm not gonna lie I may have a crush on the British boy. What's not to like he's sweet, caring, funny, he has beautiful eyes and a smile that makes anyone smile its contagious!

"Santa Monica Pier, here we are!" He motioned to the big sign

I laughed "c'mon lets go get some ice cream!" I grabbed his arm and took him to the ice cream stand

I waited for Louis to bring my ice cream while I observed the place it was such a calming place I live it here.

"Vanilla ice cream cone for me and strawberry dip & dots for the lady" he handed me my ice cream

"Haha thanks" I grabbed my cup of dip & dots "you want some?" He nodded like a little kid. I got some with my spoon and offered it to him. I expected him to grab the spoon but instead he opened his mouth telling me to feed it to him. Oh Louis. I rolled my eyes playfully, when the spoon entered his mouth I could stop thinking how hot that looked, I bit my bottom lip and looked away.

"You want some of mine?" I turned back to look at him and nodded, he started moving the cone towards me slowly, I opened my mouth slightly and before I could give the ice cream a lick Louis smashed the ice cream on my nose.

I gasped "LOUIS!" I shouted

He laughed and ran away that little ughhh in gonna get him!

I started running after him. For a boy he wasn't too fast I caught up to him quite quick.

Once I reached him I grabbed his hand and stopped him from running "You're so mean!" He only laughed

"It's not funny" I pouted

"It's kind of funny" he laughed

I crossed my arms and gave him a serious face

"I'm joking val haha sorry love, here let me get that for you" he got his napkin and rubbed it gently around my nose. I couldn't help but feel a tingly feeling in my stomach I wonder if he felt it too..

"Thanks" I murmured

"What do you want to do now?" He asked

I thought for a bit "Ah let's go to the Ferris wheel!"

"Ok then!" He grinned

We were in line for the ferris wheel for about 6 minutes. Once it was our turn we got in and waited for the ride to move. When it started moving I had a huge smile on my face I've always wanted to get on one of these.

"You seem really happy to be on this" Louis said referring to my smile

"It's my first time" I admitted

He looked in shock "You've never gotten on one of these?" He asked with a surprise tone

"No" I said embarrassed

"Well I'm honoured that you're experiencing this with me" he winked, there it is again that tingly feeling in my stomach

The ride made a stop we were now at the very top.

"Wow this is amazing" I said in awe I looked back at Louis

"Beautiful" he said although he wasn't looking at the view, he was looking at me.

The ride moved again causing me to jump a little and grab Louis' hand, he squeezed it gently reassuring me that it was fine.

"So how is it over there in England?" I asked

"Hmm, well it's different compare to here. The sun is always out here but back at home it's usually cloudy it's surprising if we get sun over there, but other than that it's a great place you'd love it over there" he grinned

My heart dropped. What's gonna happen when we have to go back home? Ah I don't wanna be thinking about goodbyes right now.

"Maybe I can convince my dads boss to hook us up on a trip to England next summer!" I joked, the Ferris wheel came to a stop the employee opened our door and Louis and I got out.

"Come lets go to the beach" he grabbed my hand and we walked to the sand.

I looked at our hands, our fingers were intertwined. I tried holding back my smile but it was too hard.

"Why are you smiling?"

I quickly looked up and hoped to not be blushing

"N-no reason" I stuttered nervously

We found a nice quiet place at the beach, we sat down in the sand and viewed the sun setting.

"Don't you just love watching the sunset?" I said

"Yeh it's quite relaxing" he said getting closer to me

"So what are you planning to do when you go back home?" I asked him

"I dunno, I really like to sing so maybe ill audition for something, who knows." He shrugged

"Wait you sing?" I asked in shock

He chuckled

"Sing me something!" I begged excitedly

"One day, I promise" he put his arm around my shoulder

God I feel the butterflies in my stomach going crazy

"I'll race you to the hotel!" I said as I got up and started running

"Hey that's not fair you didn't warn me you cheater!" He yelled

I ran as I was laughing. I knew that if I'd look back I would probably trip over something but I couldn't help it I had to look back and see if Louis was catching up to me.

As I looked back I felt arms around my waist carrying me making me scream I heard his laugh, it was Louis.

"Put me down!" I shouted

"No you're a cheater!" He ran all the way to the hotel with me on his shoulder, this big is strong!

"Louis I'm gonna fall!"

"Don't worry babe if you fall ill catch you"

Gosh please stop.

When we arrived outside the hotel he carefully put me down. I stumbled a little and fell into Louis chest. I looked up slowly at him getting lost in his eyes. We starred at each other for a while until he said "Told you I'd catch you"

And he did he really did catch me because now I know that I really do like Louis.
