Summer '09 (a Louis Tomlinson fanfic)

Chapter 2

"Don't forget to text, call, skype, tweet whatever just don't forget to tell me everything that happens over there kay?" Haha oh Lizzy, I'm gonna miss our weirdness.

Lizzy decided to tag along with us at the airport with Nathan, her boyfriend.

"I won't forget about you Lizzy haha it's only 3 months don't worry" I gave her one last hug, when we pulled apart I turned to face Nathan. "And you mister better take care of her while I'm gone alright." I gave him an evil glare but I was only joking I knew Nathan would take care of Liz, they love each other too much. Nathan's a good guy and I trust him with my best friend.

"You can count on me sir! I--I mean ma'am!" He chuckled

"Val we have to leave!" My dad shouted

"Coming!" I yelled back. "See you guys in 3 months" I smiled at them and made my way to where my parents were at.

Finally we were seated at the airplane this was so exciting yet so nerve wrecking. I've never been on a plane before. I found myself shaking and breathing heavily.

"Val it's ok it's just a plane why don't you take a nap we'll be there in no time." My mom assured me.

Maybe a nap is all I needed. I rested my head on my dads shoulder and closed my eyes before I knew it I was fast asleep.

-Louis POV-

"Are we there yet?" Daisy asked for the millionth time. We were on the plane already I really wanted to take a nap but daisy was the only one awake and I couldn't leave her awake by herself.

"Daisy we'll be there soon" I informed her.

"But Lou I wanna get there already!" She whined, oh that puppy face killed me.

"Go to sleep daisy once you wake up I promise you we'll be there"

"Fine ill go to sleep" she rested her head in my laps and she was fast asleep.

Well now since everyone's asleep I can finally take a nap also.

"Louis wake up!"

"Mum just five more minutes.."

"Lou wake up!"

"I don't wanna go to school"

"Lou what are you talking about its summer we already landed we're here in LA"

"Oh right sorry mum I forgot" I got up and got my suitcase.

We arrived at the hotel it was big and nice our room had a nice view of the beach which was perfect since I've been dying to go surfing!

"So what are the plans this summer?" Lottie asked our mum

"I trust you kids to be on your own but ofcourse I'm gonna be with Phoebe and Daisy, Lottie and Fizzy don't separate from each other! And Louis well you're 18 already so I trust you to be by yourself." Mum informed us but still had a worried face

"Mum don't worry we'll be good!" I assured her.

I looked outside the window and wow it looked beautiful outside the sunset was amazing, "Mum I think I'm gonna walk around the beach ill be back soon love you" I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and headed out.

The wind was blowing through my face and water brushed my feet it was relaxing and quiet. I liked it here. I started walking listening to the sound of waves. I began singing one of my favorite songs 'Look After You' by the fray.

I was half way the song when I heard some girls giggle behind me. I turned around and saw them smiling so I smiled back at them and for some reason they began to giggle again. Did I do something funny?

"You're a good singer" one of the girls said, she had blonde hair and blue eyes. Her hair was wet probably from swimming on the beach, and she was wearing a blue bikini. Her friends were brunettes and were also wearing bikinis. Hmm I could get used to this.

I smiled cheekily "Thanks, I'm Louis by the way"

That's when all of them gasped, "You have an accent!"

"OMG are you British?!"

"Ahh I love your accent!" They all said excitedly

Something tells me I'm gonna love this summer.

I chuckled "Yeh I'm from Doncaster, England" I smiled

A few minutes later more girls were surrounding me and asking me questions it was kind of weird but fun.

-Valerie's POV-

So I slept the whole time at the airplane and woke up right when we landed. Now I'm here at the hotel enjoying the lovely view with my parents.

"Val sweetie the sunset is beautiful why don't you go and walk around the beach for a bit while your dad and I go get us something for dinner" mom suggested.

Well I do love long walks on the beach I guess I can explore a little. I let my hair loose it was dark brown and straight, it was long a bit above my waist, I changed into my jean shorts and a purple tank top.

"Alright see you guys later, just call me when your back with the food I'm starving!" I told my mom while I got my phone from the table and went to the beach.

I walked barefoot on the sand I loved the feeling of sand when it was warm.

As I was walking peacefully I started hearing a bunch of girls laughing near by. I got closer and found a lot of girls surrounding one guy.

Wow that guy must feel lucky right now, whoever he is.

I was so curious why were they all surrounding him?

I got a little closer and spotted a girl that came out of the circle with a huge smile. I walked towards her, "Hey uh why is everyone around him?" I asked

"Apparently he's from the UK and omg he has a beautiful accent!" The girl said excitedly.

"I'm a sucker for british accents!" I told the girl

"You should go over there he's cute too, everyone's attacking him with questions if it wasn't for my boyfriend calling me I would've stayed longer with him" she said walking away to where I'm guessing her boyfriends car was.

I didn't want to bother the poor guy he might enjoy all the girls around him right now but 10 girls was enough for him, I don't want to bother.

Before I kept on walking I tried to take glimpse of him but girls kept blocking the view I could only see the back of his head I couldn't even hear him talk because of all the giggles the girls were doing.

I kept walking but got tired so I sat down on the sand and enjoyed the sunset.

I checked my phone and saw I had two text messages

1st message:

-Lizzy my kazoozle: How's it going so far? Miss you!

2nd message:

-Mom: Foods here!!! :)

I replied to my mom first

-Val: Yay! I'll be there soon don't let dad eat my food!

Then I replied to Lizzy

-Val: Our hotel room has a nice view of the beach! I'm off to eat now, miss you too!
