Diego packed his dirty overall that smelt of rust and a lot of sweat into his rucksack, he had just finished his shift at the Richards mechanic shop where he had worked for the last 2 years, and was rather excited to get back home and relax after a long day of work, usually the mechanic shop isn't this flooded with cars, but this was expected since it was summer and rich folk enjoyed coming out to the country to enjoy their summer in their extravagant villas.
He reached home just before the street lights went out, the new mayor of Herrera town had introduced a new law, where the townspeople had curfew and whereby after curfew the lights were switched off, it was introduced because of the gang shootouts that occurred almost every night.
He opened the door to his apartment, to find his best friend and roommate Rodriguez entwined on the couch with yet another bimbo from the local bar, Diego and Rodriguez had been friends since his childhood and have been associated as brothers, despite their tight relationship, Diego and Rodríguez have very different lifestyles, Rodríguez is all about the high life, going clubbing, having different girls in bed every other night and making horrible life decisions, whereas Diego was the ultimate opposite, he took long to commit to someone or something, was very hesitant with his decision making, however he did have an ego that challenged Rodríguez's and perhaps that's what bonded them the more.
"ey yo, off the couch, before you soil it like the last one" cried Diego as he locked the door behind him, Rodríguez and his companion seemed not to hear anything he said but kept discovering themselves even more, Diego thus resolved to slamming the door even harder in order grab their attention, with a loud bang at the door, Rodríguez and friend jumped apart.
"What's this roro?" the girl said with a thick Mexican accent, now that she wasn't entwined with Rodríguez, Diego was able to see more of her features, and of course she was beautiful Rodríguez always brought home beautiful girls, she had big brown eyes with a heavy chest and a small midriff that grew into wide hips, otherwise described as a typical Mexican woman.
"Nothing luscious, just my roommate Diego spoiling the fun as always" Rodríguez clearly irritated said as he tried to zip his pants and smooth over his shirt, Luscious who seemed not bothered at all, went over to the mirror in the corner of the living room and began touching up her make-up, ten minutes later she came back and found the two men frozen in place clearly from an argument, avoiding the high level of tension she grabbed her purse and walked out of the apartment.
As soon as the door slammed shut, Diego went back to throwing words at Rodríguez, who as usual had missed his shift at work, leaving Diego to attend to multiple cars alone today, this clearly also caught the attention of their manager Jeves who threatened to sack Rodríguez if any of his nonsense carried on.
After ten minutes of a lengthy lecture from Diego, he tired to his room leaving a disheveled and confused Rodríguez on the couch, on his bed he tried to relax by thinking about his day and events that could have happened but he was so exasperated and full of fatigue that he just slept off right away.
