I hear a knock on my door. I get up and open it, to find Liam standing there, a small smile on his face.

"It's almost time for you to leave," he says.

"Okay," I reply.

He looks into my room with desire.

"Could we perhaps sit in this room one last time?" he asks.

"Yeah, but there's not much in here," I reply.

"I don't care," he says.

We migrate into my room, closing the door behind us. We sit on the floor where my bed used to be, in silence. Liam looks up at me from the floor.

"I'm really going to miss you," he says quietly.

"Me too," I reply.

"Are you going to be able to fly up here for a holiday?" he asks.

"I have no idea," I reply.

He nods solemnly. Out of nowhere, he tackles me, pinning me onto the floor. I squeal in surprise. He brushes his hands over my chest, light as a feather. It tingles where he touches me. He sighs in relief.

"You don't know how long I've wanted to do that," he says.

Something goes off in Liam's eyes, and jumps off of me, a horrified look on his face.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" he says, "I didn't mean-I was being really selfish, I'm really sorry, I shouldn't have done that. I forgot about the whole thing"

"Liam, it's okay," I say.

"No, no it's not," he replies, "I did something without your consent, I really regret doing it."

I get up and grab his shoulders.

"Liam, it's okay, it really is," I say.

Liam shakes his head.

"I'm never going to forget this," he says, looking down on me, "for the next few months or so, I'll be staying up all night, thinking about this and cringing."

We hear a knock on my door. I open the door to find my dad, standing there.

"Honey, time to go," he says.

I nod. He directs his attention to Liam.

"You too, buddy," he says.

"Yes John," Liam replies, walking out of the room.

Our family stands outside, saying our goodbye's to our friends. Libby is hugging Kinley, both of them trying not to cry. I stand around watching this, until I feel someone pick me up from behind and spin me. Once they finally set me down, I turn around to see Liam standing there, smiling and sad. I wrap my arms around his neck, locking him in a tight embrace. We let go, our cheeks wet from tears.
"I'm really going to miss you," Liam says, his voice thick from crying.
"Me too," I reply.
Without thinking, I jump up and plant a kiss on his lips. He stands there in shock, touching his lips. A smile spreads on his face, in amazement. I hear my dad honk the horn. I give Liam  a quick hug, and ran towards the car. I hop in and wave to Liam. He grins and waves back viciously. The car pulls out of the driveway, and onto the road. Liam runs behind the car, waving and smiling. We eventually loose him after a while, and we get out of the neighborhood. I pull out my phone and plug in my earbuds. I play my playlist, and sit back. This is going to be a long trip, I think as we pull out the highway.
