"What took you so long?" Jongin stuffed his hands in his pockets as he walked towards Sehun.

"I had to look pretty for you," Sehun rolled his eyes, looking around the dark street. "Where are we doing this..?"

"My backyard. Come on," Jongin gestured for Sehun to follow him as he walked into his house. Jongin slung his arm around Sehun's shoulders as they strolled through his house, heading towards his back door.

"Is this okay?" Sehun whispered as he looked at Jongin.

"Yeah, it's fine," Jongin replied in the same whisper, rubbing Sehun's shoulder.

They exited through the back door, closing it behind them before walking out into the grass. It was a warm summer night, just as Jongin had described.

Jongin pulled his arm away from Sehun and laid in the grass, Sehun laying next to him. Hesitantly, Sehun reached over for Jongin's hand and held it.

Jongin pulled his hand away, resting it on his chest as he stared up at the stars. Sehun looked away, slight tears forming in his eyes before he wiped them away.

"We've been friends for so long.." Jongin said softly, adjusting his hood.

Sehun nodded in response.

"We have so many memories.. like the cabin our families shared that one summer. Everyday, we would go to that lake.. man, it seems like yesterday."

"Do you remember that time I kissed you by the lake..? It was the same day I pushed you in the lake and you complained about a fish biting you the rest of the day.." Sehun waved away his previous sadness as he faintly smiled at the memory.

Jongin nodded, "That was my first kiss, of course I remember it... Hey, Sehun?"

"Yeah?" Both boys rolled onto their side, facing each other while staring into each others' eyes.

"Do you still have feelings for me?" Jongin chewed on his lower lip.

"No," Sehun replied flatly.
