Chapter 9 The Fight and Having To Choose

A/N: Alright people, listen up. I know that I took forever to update to this chapter. I'm sorry for that I had school to attend to. If it was my choice I would have made this chapter already. Oh and before I forget, I had a very special person help me with this chapter, so at the end of the chapter I will tell of the person who helped me out. Leave in the comments if you guys want a third ending and I'll make it as best as I can. Anyway lets begin this chapter. 😉

*(Y/N)'s POV*

Morning finally came as I woke up. Looking out my window I saw the sky completely covered in dark gray clouds like it would rain. Soon I remember what happened last night, with Lucius or Light telling me the truth about him and Dwain or Dark. How they were sent here to study/learn about mortals. 'It's insane that they're not human, they look so much more human then I've thought, epically Dark. And...' I blushed at the thought of Light kissing my hand. 'Oh God, I really do like them both, but Light is starting to take my heart. But Dark, even though he's a demon, he's like the more silent and dominant type of guy, which I kinda like. Light is more of the sweet and gentlemen type of guy which I like also... This is going to be a tough choice.' As I was about to get up I heard a knock on my window. Opening my window Dark climbed in and sat down on my bed. "Uh, Dark? What are you doing?" "I only came because I wanted to know if you'd like to hang out with me later. I know that you may not like what I am, but give me a chance here." "Dark, I'm not judging you on what you are. Yeah you're a demon, but that doesn't mean that I don't like you." "Really, wow. I'd figured you'd deny me. Okay well I wanted to hang out in the forest nearby instead of at home, so try and met me at 6." Dark said with a small blush. "I don't mind at all. It's been awhile since school started. I'd love to. Just wait outside of the forest and I'll meet you there." "Okay, see you soon (Y/N)." With that he'd disappeared. Changing into comfortable close and ate some breakfast, I met up with Dark. Once I was there we started to talk about random as we walked around. "Hey Dark, I gotta ask. How long are you and Light suppose to stay here? Light said that you both were sent here to study/learn about mortals." "Well, we leave when we're needed. But if we break a rule down here we both end up paying a price. I'm surprised that we haven't been punished yet, me and Light weren't allowed to tell mortals about what we are." Dark said as he looked up. "I wonder why fate is so cruel at times. I can't say why, but I kills me when I think about it." "Think about what?" "As I said, I can't say. But I have something to say and you might hate me for it." "Why would I hate you? You did nothing wrong." I said in confusion. Taking a deep breath he spoke. "I couldn't take it anymore and I snapped when you lost your memories. So I took it out the people who did it, making sure they'd never hurt you again..." "What do you mean? Who were the people?" "So innocent you are. But I'll make it clear to you. Emily, Rosie, and Taylor are dead, I killed them because of what they did." In shock I stopped and backed away from him. "(Y/N), please don't be afraid of me. I would never hurt you. I only want you to be safe." "But you killed people! How am I suppose to feel safe when you did that!" "You said you'd never judge me for who I am and yet here you are, judging because I killed the people who made you miserable." "You didn't have to kill anyone! I'm not even special to anyone!" "You're special to me! I care about you!" Dark said in anger. "And if you don't believe me, I'll show you." With at he smashed his lips in mine as he pinned me to a tree.

In shock I was wide eyes before I slowly closed them, starting to enjoy the kiss. Seeing as I was comfortable Dark licked my lips to be let in, without any thinking I let him and felt every corner inside. I pulled away for a breath before kissing him back. Grabbing a hold my ass, he lifted me up so that i could wrap my legs around his waist. With one hand Dark started to go for my shirt until we heard a cough behind us. Letting go me and Dark separted to find Light glaring at Dark angrily. Looking away in embarrassment Dark started to yell at Light. "What do you want, I was in the middle of something here!" "I need to have a word with you, in private." "This better be important or you're getting it." With that they disappeared behind the trees for whatever they needed to talk about. Without nothing to do I just started to wait until I heard Dark and Light yell at each other. Running to where they were I saw that the started to fight with their hands and feet. Dark was throwing punches at Light as he dodged and did a spin kick at Darks head. In rage by the hit, Dark swiped at Lights knocking him off balance, landing on his back. As he tried to punch Lights head, Light moved pout of the way, making Dark to punch the ground leaving a fist size hole. "LIGHT! DARK! STOP THIS NOW!" "(Y/N), STAY OUT OF THIS! THIS IS MY FIGHT!" "AND YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE!" Dark yelled before grabbing Light by the head and slammed it against a tree. Light snapped throwing Dark off him. Light let his wings come out and flew into the air. "Oh no you don't!" "Stop! Please don't fight!" I cried, but Dark didn't listen and his black wings came out, going after Light. Thunder could be heard as the two flew high in the sky. 'Why! Why is this happening!' I thought as I grew more worried about them both.

*No Ones POV*

'Why can't he just give up already! He knows it's her choice to make, not his. That selfish demon.' Light growled as he saw Dark coming up. "Dark, please! We don't have to do this!" Light yelled to his demon twin. "Yes Light, we do and you know it!" Dark spits out with venom as he conjors up a broadsword that's black with dark purple markings. Light conjor up a katana that's white with blue markings at the same time. As Dark makes his first move Light dodges and tried to knock the sword out of Darks hands. "Please Dark, I know we both love her, but it's her choice! Not ours!" "I just want to be happy for once! All you damn angels get the happy endings! Why can't I!" As Dark spoke their swords clash together making sparks fly everywhere as lighting strikes nearby. As Light held Dark back, he pushed Dark back and used his power to blind. Light tries to get a hit on Dark, but he blocks the hit and glared. Darks eyes flash red causing his sword to burst into black flames and as Lights eyes flash blue his sword burst into white flames too. Clashing swords together repeatedly, their powers starts overloading. With one more hit their power pushed each other back and sent them flying to the ground where (Y/N) was.

*(Y/N)'s POV*

Once they fell to the ground I ran to them as fast as I could. Going to Dark, I try to shake him awake, but he wouldn't respond. Then shaking Light and he wouldn't respond either. 'Oh God! What am I going to do! They're not waking up! Stop, calm down, I just need to think straight. I have to see if they have a pulse, that's if they had one to begin with.' Laying my head on Darks chest I heard a slow and quiet heartbeat. As I was about to check Light something grabbed me. Looking back I saw Dark with his eyes completely black. He pulled me back down and held me. "(Y/N), stay here. I don't want you to be with Light. It's not fair." "Dark let her go. She doesn't want to be with you. Let go." Light said as he started to get up. Dark let go of me as he quickly got up and tried to punch Light in the face. I got in between them before more fighting could happen. "Please stop fighting! I don't want you two to fight anymore! What is wrong with you both!" I said in anger glaring at both of them. "I can't take it anymore (Y/N). Light says that you have to choose between me and him. I would rather see you choose me instead of him." "Like he said I would purpose you would choose instead of us fighting, but Dark would rather have that instead." Light said calmly as Dark glared at him. Looking between them I could see them waiting for an answer. "Well? Who will it be? Light or me?" Dark said with an eager voice. "I uhh... I choose..."
