Judy & Nick had been given a hard case of a missing animal with only lead of a last sighting of being in this blocks of apartments, but Judy was confident that she can solve it either alone or with Nick alongside .
"Soo, what do we do now? Interrogate every animal that lives here?" Nick grunted
"Would that be so bad? Come on, let's not get your couch-potato tail in the way!" Judy said, asking him to accompany her.
"No thanks, I'll just stroll around the neighborhood, with my smooth tail away from carpets"

"Fine!" Judy said, being pissed off as she is, missing another together time with Nick.

Nick strolled around the dark neighborhood, looking at houses and windows, wondering why Judy is trying to interrogate anyone this late.
Dumb bunny, he said to himself
Ahead of him, lies two cramp alleys face-to-face with each other.
He noticed a beggar rat sat there, only wrapping itself with newspaper. He noticed just how sad it is, and how lucky he is to have a job, even with a little salary with his little partner.

The rat woke up when Nick wrapped a scarf around it, felted warmthness from Nick's neck.
Nick made a genuine smile.
"Thank you, little fox," said the rat, Nick failed to notice how old the rat is from its ripples on its face
"How can I repay you,ever?"
"Well, I'm from ZPD, and I was wondering if you can identify this missing animal. Do you mind?" He asked with a smile, a tired one.
"Don't mind if I do my boy, let me see."
Nick showed the rat a photo of a Zebra, named Mr. Stronton.
"Stronton? He came to me everyday giving me food!" the rat said in worry.
"I hope you find him fast and alive" prayed the rat

Nick left the rat, and stared into an alley to his right with his perfect nightvision. He saw a pool of liquid, giving out a sharp metallic smell to his nose.
"What is that?" Nick wondered.
He went in the alley, and there he saw a pool of blood with furs mixed in it, making him gag to a trash can. But what he in the trash can, made him gagged again to the ground. A dead animal.
Nick quickly sprang out his phone and dialed Judy's number.

"Yes Nick?"
"Uhh, I think I found our striped-friend down here." Nick said whilst trying to hold back his gag.
"I'm guessing from your tone, he not alive and well, is he Nick?"
"At least you are smart in hearing people," said Nick
"Where are you Nick? I'll come there,"
"I'm now in-ARGGHHH-"
What the hell?

He finds himself stabbed from the back, making him stumbled forward, leaning to a wall, trying to hold his wound. He became dizzy and in pain, he whispered to the phone,

"h e l p...m e.....w h i s k e r s...."

His phone flopped and taken by an unknown figure

"Nick? Nick!! NIIICCCK!!!!!"
Judy ran out the apartment, hopping and trying to find Nick.
Then, she saw a scarf lying on the ground. It was Nicks. When she picked it up, her ears caught a weak breathing sound from the alley. She rushed in.
"Nick?!!"

She saw him sitting against the wall, with weak breathing, and a pool of blood flowing under him.

"Nick!! Don't die on me! Wake up!!" cried Judy
Nick looked up up with Judy holding his head up to her face. Nick didn't say anything, he gave a comforting lick to her mouth, and he passed out.
