"So, who is this leopard you seem to fear of?", asked Judy.

Bogo sighed,"If I'm not wrong, and if I remembered correctly, he was an old case."

"He butchers animal for fun," Bogo said, with a blatantly grim face.

"Oh my, that's..messed up."

"What exactly brought Nick to the alley?"

"He said he saw a pool of blood and got stabbed when he was inspecting the trash can, near the blood."

"Did he saw a tall figure standing in front of him when he fell down?" Bogo asked.

"Not that I remember, Chief," Judy said in hesitation.

"Are you thinking of an...accomplice?"

"That's the only reasonable explanation, yes."

"Judy, go back to Nick and ask if Nick saw anyone around before he pass out," instructed the chief.

"Yes sir, I'll be glad to!"

Judy goes to her patrol car, and drives herself to the hospital.
She was too excited to visit Nick, she drove a bit faster than the law has approved. Irony.

She went in the hospital. She got in lift, quickly pressed Nick's floor. She saw an elderly goat with a cane stick standing at the middle of the lift.

"Good day, Miss," greeted Judy.

She awed, "Aw, good day to you too, my dear."

"Meeting someone?"

"Oh yes, I'm about to visit my partner."

"What happened to your partner?", the elder asked in concern.

"Well, you see, he got stabbed by someone in an alley when following an evidence," Judy said, giving a sad smile.

"An alley?"

"Yes, in an alley."

The lift stopped, both Judy and the elder goat got out from the lift.

As she walks the opposite direction from the elder, she heard a light whisper from the elder.

"Good look solving THAT, long-ear."

Why did she say that? Judy ignored the thought and went to Nick's room.

She opened the door, and saw Nick scrolling through her phone in the bed, with only one hose in his skin.

"NICK NICK NICK NICK!!!"
she cheered as she jumps to his leg.

"Oh hey there whiskers, excited to see me?", asked Nick.

"Why wouldn't I? 2 days of missing work is pretty lonely to me y'naw."

Nick chuckled,"Yeah, I'm sure you're a bit lonely at work."

The two got quite for a while.

"So, how can I help? Clearly you aren't visiting just to greet me."

"Oh yeah, Chief Bogo sent me here to ask you a question about the alley."

Nick clears his throat, "What about it?"

"He asks if you saw anyone near the alley before you got stabbed. Did you saw anyone around there?"

Nick thought about it for a while.

"Well actually, I saw a beggar rat at the front of the alley, I gave him my scarf." Nick huffed.

"Rat? What rat? In fact, I found your scarf at the front of the alley."

Nick made a blank stare to the wall,

"Is it possible that the rat stabbed me?" Nick asked

"The blade was small but it was yanked to my stomach." Nick stated.

"Of course, the missing accomplice!", realized Judy.

"I've got to go back to ZPD, bye Nick!"

"Carrots please," Nick pleased

"What?"

"Have you looked at the time?"

She looked at her watch, it was eleven at night.

"Oh wow, didn't even noticed, must've been too busy myself. I should go back to my apartment."

"Or-" Nick interrupted.

"You can sleep here.." Nick asked with suggestive eyebrows.

"What? No! I can't do that!" Judy denied.

"But it's nighttime, what if you fall asleep when you're driving?" Nick asked, faking his worry.

"But-but, your stomach is hurt!" Judy reasoned.

"Nah, I have enough morphine to keep me from feeling it. Come on, hop in the bed," said Nick.

She took off her hat, then her protection vest, and her police uniform, leaving her jeans and her grey tank top.

Nick watched pleasantly as his tail wagged, hidden in the blanket. This is too good.

She jumped in the bed, putting her head on Nick's arm, and pulled the blanket.

"Nick?"

"Yeah?"

"Don't even try. to do. anything. weird."

Just as Judy said it, she heard Nick sniffing her ears, trying to catch a whiff of her smell.

"Ahh...swwweeet carrots and cherry blossom," Nick said in satisfaction.

"Nick!", she shouted in a low voice, trying not to wake up other patients.

"Aww, are you blushing?"

Judy blushed more than before.

"Shut up or I'll-"

"Oh please, are you really going to hurt this poor fox?", grinned Nick.

She curled up in bed.

"Dumb fox."

"Sweet bunny."

She punched him at the wound.

"Oof! You're so harsh!"

She already dosed off.

Nick pulled her closer to his chest and began to dose off as well.
