Back from the hospital, Judy went back to the alley at the apartments, seeing it sealed by a police line with some fellow cops around. The length of the apartments made the alley dark. She leaped over the line and went for the blood pool. A trash can was already opened and was taken picture of by a leopard in a fedora. This guy looks like he's been long in the detective world, she said to herself. She decided to say hi.

"Hi detective, finding anything?", greeted Judy.

"And who are you suppose to be?", asked the leopard.

"Judy Hopps, ZPD."

The leopard made a little gasp,
"Ooh, the first bunny in the force.
Say, aren't you a meter maid?", he asked sarcastically.

"Oh uh, not anymore, he he...(how rude)" she said with clearly made-up laugh, feeling her heart ached a little from the leopard's words.

"What brings you here, exactly?", he said while lifting an eyebrow.

"My partner got stabbed here," she answered as she points at a dried up pool of blood next to a trash can.

"Well, you can examine the body I suppose, have fun, my lady," the leopard said as he leaves the crime scene.

"Will do detective, will do.."
How will I enjoy looking at dead furs, damn detective.

A distinct leg of a zebra hanged from the trash can, making her to conclude that this murder happened in this alley, not long before Nick got stabbed. She dug around the crime scene. As she sweeps the ground, she found a strand of a wolf's hair. She put it in an evidence bag.

As she was about to leave the scene, she looked at the alley across the street.

A pair of eyes was staring at her.

She widen her eyes in confusion. She didn't blink. Her heart is thumping hard that it hurts. The stare felt primal. Like it was preying a victim.

She blinked.

The eyes disappeared into the alley.

She was speechless. She chose not to tell anyone and went back to ZPD to submit the hair sample.

"Heey Judy," Clawhauser greeted behind the desk, muffled by donuts.

"Hiya there Hauser, I was wondering if I can go to the lab to submit some evidence," Judy said as she holds the evidence bag.

"Umm, do you have the clearance to do that?", Clawhauser asked.

"Uhh, I guess no," sighed Judy

"I guess I'll just drop it here, ok? Thaanks."

"You're welcome Juuud,"

As she was about to go to Chief Bogo,

"Hey Jud!"

"Yeah?"

"Tell Nick to get well soon!", Clawhauser shouted

"Sure, I will!", Judy shouted back.

Judy went upstairs to meet Chief Bogo, to see if she can get some info about that anonymous detective.

Judy knocked the door.

"Come in," the voice said.

She opened the door, and Chief was there, sitting while looking at some files on his desk with his glasses on. She pulled a chair, adjusted it's height, and sat across Bogo.

"You may speak, Judy," he said as he tidy up the table.

"Well, I was wondering if you know any detective leopard that works here, because I've never seen one and there was a detective leopard taking photos in the crime scene," said Judy.

"Leopard? What leopard?", Bogo asked furiously.

"Uhh-"

Bogo picked up his phone to Clawhauser.

"I want..everyone in the zebra crime scene, to meet me now," he said loudly, gritting his teeth.

"But chief, they are-"

"NOW!!" Bogo shouted.

Judy sat down, hiding her face behind the desk with her ears down.

"What does he looked like, this leopard?" Bogo asked.

"H-he wears a fedora with a coat, like in old crime dramas," she answered.

"Fedora? Is it..him?"

A long legend

Just as he thought about it, all of the cops from the crime scene came into the office.

"What is it, Sir?", asked a cop deer.

"Now, whose idea was it to let a spotted cat to step on the crime scene?!!", Bogo asked. He bashed his desk, making everyone jumped a little.

No answer

"Rhino!"

Rhino gave a salute, "Yes Sir?"

"Who let that feline in there?"

"I didn't..actually pay attention to the leopard, sir," Rhino replied while loosening his tie, trying to gulp.

"No one, knows the leopard?!"

All of the officers didn't reply.

"Grrr..DISMISS!!", shouted Bogo while bashing the desk again.

Everyone dismissed and ran out the office in terror, except for Judy who is still interested in the leopard.

"Soo, do you know this leopard?", she asked with a low voice.

"Unfortunately, yes."
