Going home

Beast Boy Pov

Robin was real shaken up about what he did. I never knew he had it in him. I never even knew he had super powers! He keeps everything from me. I knew Slade gave them to him. He was acting a little  fishy after we saved him from being Slade's apprentice. As I walked through the halls of Batman's mansion I saw him and that butler dude talking. I hide behind a statue and ease dropped.

''He really did that?'', the butler asked, ''I didn't even knew he had super powers.''

''Neither did I, '' Batman said to the butler dude.

I ran to Robin's room. I didn't even knock. He was looking out the window. Staring at the outside.

''Beast Boy,'' he started, ''get the others and tell them where're going home today.''

''What?'' We were going home? Was he for real?

''Where're going home today.''

''Why?''

''Because we finished our mission, and everyone knows what happened, so staying here really isn't a bright idea. Besides I want to get home to Starfire. She is pregnant, remember?''

''Robin you're a hero. You just lost your cool. Everyone does from time to time. You don't have to worry about someone hunting you down.''

''That's not what I'm worried abut.'' He said in a monotone voice.

''Than what is it?''

''I hurt people, Beast Boy. I killed people. Heroes don't do that. I ain't no hero.''

''Rob, what are ya talking about? You're the best hero I know.''

''BB I'm in a real bad mood. I just need some time alone.''

''Okay.'' I walked out of the room. Robin is taking this way to seriously. Then again he does with everything. I went to  Cyborg's room.

''Hey Cy we need to talk.''

''What is it BB?'' he asked while flipping through a motor magazine.

''Robin said we're leaving.''

Cyborg looked at me like I had green skin. Oh wait, I do. Never mind he just gave me a weird look.

''Already! We just got here!''

''I know but he's still struggling with the whole Tony Zucco thing.'' Cyborg gave me a look like he understood.

''Man that guy is really regretting what he did isn't he?''

''Yeah.''

''We'll I'll get packing.''

''Can you tell Raven?''

''Sure.''

I walked back to my own room and got packed up. I was deciding if I should tell Batman or not. Robin would probably be mad. Then again he is Robin's old mentor so Batman would probably understand.

While I was packing my cloths I heard footsteps. Batman/ Bruce Wayne came in my room.

''Beast Boy, do you have a moment?''

''Yes I do.''

''Robin informed me you all were leaving and going back to Jump.''

''Yeah he told me too.''

''I just want you to know be easy on Robin. You saw what happened back there. It's obvious he still doesn't have control over his powers. Don't do anything to trigger it.''

I know all this. Is that all he cares about? Robin's powers? What about Robin's feelings.

''Batman,'' I started, ''I'm not worried about his powers I'm worried about him. Robin feels horrible about this.''

''Which is why he must be careful. Those powe-''

''Is that all you care about! Robin needs help coping with this. Not practice on controlling his powers. Robin has to carry this for the rest of his life, his unborn child and Starfire to worry about.. Not this!''

I was surprised by myself. I was raising my voice to my hero, but Robin is my hero too. Not just some robot who has to train 24/7.

''Beast Boy you don't understand what I'm trying to say! If Robin triggers those powers again he could put himself in much more pain than what he already is. He could hurt everyone!''

''Don't worry about it. Me, Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire will watch out for him. He's gunna be fine. Besides Robin is really skilled. He'll figure those powers out in no time.''

''I hope so.'' Batman left. Deep down I was worried about Robin. Everyone is. I hope he does get a grip on his powers.

Robin pov

I looked out the window as everyone waved us goodbye. Barbara was really hurt when I told her the teen titans were leaving. I knew it broke her heart but we had things to take care of. Tim was pretty disappointed. Me and him were just getting to know each other. Bruce showed no emotions. He's disappointed in me. I was just glad we were leaving Gotham. I couldn't wait to go home and see Starfire. I hope she's alright. I hope I'll be able to shake this off. I'm so mad at myself I lost control like that. I was trained better. I know better. I killed people. Hurt people.Betrayed people. How can I call myself a teen titan?

I know the reporters are going to be on my case. I don't care. As long as I'm out of Gotham. Jump City here we come.
