'Once upon a time there was a little girl..' That is how young Cinderella's story began but this is how it ended.

After her marriage to her Prince Charming she sat on the throne for many years. But many years can take affect on people. It can twist a once beautiful kind child into a sinful ruler who's beauty turns into spite and wrath. But through evil, good is created and that good was created in the city Crimson West by they're ruler King Eric and son Prince Jon. They believed their good could take back the kingdom, Kingdom of Lights, which Queen Cinderella rules.
But all light fades in the presences of darkness, whereas all darkness strengthens in the brightness of light.

Cinderella remembers the day she became Queen, the day her 'Happily Ever After' came true. She sat on her golden glass throne to match her golden glass shoes, next to her charming prince, now a King. Staring at her sour faced step-mother and sisters ready for their lifetime of working in the castle.

But now she is old, and she stares at the castles old cracked walls and she sits on a throne with the one next to her gathering dust. The mirrors reflecting only a shadow. The mirror her step-mother once made her stand in everyday so she could point out every fault she could find.
'Too skinny,' a voice echoed in Cinderella's ears.
'Too tanned,' the voice mocked as if descending from the mirror.
'Too incompetent,' it hissed.

'Your Majesty?' A voice boomed from down the hall, Cinderella glanced down squinting her eyes so she could see her royal guard. 'The Prince of the Crimson is here to see you,' he announced. Cinderella scoffed as she glanced back into the mirror at her face now drawn on by the artist of time.

'Too weak,' the voice hissed once more.

'Your Majesty?' He asked fear scratching his throat.

'I heard you Guard but he will wait. I am the Queen and he- he is only a boy,' she hissed, 'Is anyone with him?' She asked as she played with her skin.

'Yes, his fiancé,' he spoke hedgy, Cinderella rolled her eyes as a smirk crossed her face 'The Princess of the Veil. Princess-'

'Elizabeth. Yes I've heard of her. Face of an angel and voice of a waterfall. Voice of a waterfall, I had a voice of a golden stream on a winters night.' She looked at the memories in her eyes. 'I had the looks of a goddess. I had my Prince Charming. I had my Kingdom. I had my love.
I had a good heart.'
She looked back at her guard and ready herself to the throne room.

The Queen stormed through the doors in her golden black dress which trailed behind her, her eyes looking down upon the Prince who kneeled before her, his fiancé curtseying. She was a beautiful as an angel. The Queens's eyes immediately striking to hers scorching into the young girls body.

'Your Majesty I am honoured to meet you, to be in your presence. We have heard far and wide of your happily ever after and wish for ours to be similar.' The Prince announced Cinderella still focused on the girl as she sat on her throne. 'We are terribly sorry of what happened to your Prince-'

'King,' The Queen corrected.

'Right.' The Prince began to sweat. He had heard far and wide of Cinderella's Happily Ever After, and what happened after it.

The King and Queen of the kingdom did rule with how they tendered too. Happiness, loyalty, love. However something grew inside them some say the step-mother still whispered in the girls ear, others say it was a witch that cursed them to turn as wicked as their parents.

But most say it was the black rose Her Prince gave to her on their first meeting which grew inside their hearts turning them as dark as the petals. Turning everything about them dark, and that the King could no longer take this forever darkness and jumped from the highest tower from the highest window into the bed of white roses staining their roots red.
