CHAPTER 3
_KC'S POV_
We agreed on something I cant believe it. We were staring at each other. This is absolutely crazy we were going with some guy from dream to England. O man this must be some kind of new dream im having but at least im not alone this time. I have my brothers and by the way they were looking at me they were thinking the same thing.
All of a sudden there was pounding at my door. How annoying he interrupted the only moment I had with my brothers since my mom died. This better be good.
"WE HAVE TO GO NOW!" his face was worried and urgent. It made me jump out of my skin almost.
"right now? We haven't started packing."
"what? Packing? No there is no time. WHY ARENT YOU MOVING?! LETS GO!"
He grabbed me and my little brother in my arms, he was actually carrying us to the car. Then I saw them the black figures from my dream were no more than 10 ft away from me. Jimmy and Jacob jumped in the car after shoving me and Jessie roughly in the back. Im going to have bruise for sure.
"DUCK" Jacob yelled before speeding off.
All I heard was the back windshield breaking. Omg were they shooting at the car?!
"WHAT HELL IS GOING ON JACOB?"
"I CANT EXPLAIN RIGHT NOW. I NEED TO WORRY ABOUT GETTING YOU GUYS SAFELY TO ENGLAND AND HE EXPLAIN THIS!" what was he talking about? Who could explain it? The black figures weren't chasing us anymore. i was biting my bottom lip so hard it started bleeding. I was look at Jacobs eyes in the mirror and caught me looking. I could feel all the blood rush to my face. He reached into the glove compartment and handed me a tissue "here your lip is bleeding."
He turned to all of us now with worry in his eyes " is everyone ok?""jimmy you ok?" jimmy nodded "Jessie how are you?" "fine" "and what about you Jessie? Your bleeding. Your head feel ok?" Jessie nodded and added "this is just so exciting!", Jacob gave him a crooked smile and kept driving.
When we got the airport everything happened in a rush. Jacob already had our tickets. We had no luggage so we just went straight on the plane. It was a 7 hour flight so I decided to cuddle up with Jessie and try and fall asleep with him.
"kc wake up..." it was a whisper. "GET UP WERE HERE!!" I jumped up to a victorious Jacob. "you wouldn't wake up."
"ugh. I don't like you very much so far." I shook Jessie and he woke with out anyone having to shout in his ear. "hey kay. Are we there yet?" "yeah supposedly we are, I glared at Jacob who was getting Jimmy.
When we got off the plane we walked toward a black Mercedes with a older man holding the door open. Me and my brothers looked at each other with exasperated looks. No way! We were going to ride in this?
"hello young Jacob. Did you enjoy your little trip?" the older man in the black suit holding the door greeted.
"Ah hello Maurice. Yes it was rather interesting."
"These must be the special ones. Well come, come, your father wouldn't want to be kept waiting too long." And with that we were rushed in the car.
What the man named Maurice said about us being the special ones really confused me. We weren't special.
The scenery was beautiful. I was very tired and I wanted to sleep just like my brothers were doing but I couldn't stop looking around. It was all just amazing. Eventually we pulled up to huge rod iron gates. The house, or I should say mansion was beautiful. There was a pond in the front and the drive way went in a round about around it. Maurice opened the door for us and I stepped out cradling Jessie to my chest. I didn't even notice Jacob reaching for him and taking him right out of my arms I was too much in shock than his voice broke my amazement " your going to catch a fly with your mouth open that wide." My mouth was practically touching the ground. We all started walking toward the double doors when they just opened by themselves. I looked at Jimmy and said "creepy" and he just nodded. There was a huge stair case as soon as you walked in. to the left were 4 doors and one double door. To the right was 3 double doors. I wonder whats behind them. Im going to have to explore this place sometime.
We were walked to a sort of waiting room looking place. It had a few chairs and a coffee table with entertainment magazines and news paper scattered on it.
" wait here. Maurice will get you anything you need." He place Jessie down on the love seat. "do not move from this spot. I will be right back." And Jacob went up the stairs.
I looked at jimmy and he was staring around. "isn't this amazing!" he practically shouted.
"jimmy this isn't weird to you? I mean what hell are we doing here?"
"cmon kay don't kill this for me please. Im trying not to worry about that right now. I mean what have we have to lose. Were all here, together and as long as it stays like that don't worry yet."
I just sighed. But he was right. We might as well enjoy this. I just want find out whats going on.
