I run at a slow steady pace while I observe the sunset of orange and purple colors through the dark blue sky overlooking the water.

"On your left." Steve says and speeds passed by me. I snicker whilst shaking my head. continuing my same speed

"Got it babe on my left." I said.

I manage to catch up with another jogger. We passed the tall structure while Steve remains at the same speed.

"On your left." Steve repeats.

"я покончу с вами, Роджерс." I threatened. I will end you Rogers.

"On your left. Got it." The jogger spoke.

Now daylight started to form. I continue at the same pace while taking steady but short breaths.

I can hear Steve approaching from behind us.

"Don't say. Don't you say it." The jogger warns. While trying to increase he's speed.

"On your left." He repeats.

"Come on!" the jogger exclaimed before he stops and takes a breath.

I sprint past him. "On your left."

Later I finally manage to catch up to Steve who slowed down only so little. We find the jogger slump against a tree. Holding he's stomach breathing heavily.

"Need a medic?" Steve teases the restless man

The jogger simply chuckles at his remark.

"I need a new set of lunges." He counters.

"Dude you just ran 13 miles in 30 seconds."

I scoff. "That's a slow day for him."

"You should be ashamed of yourself. You should take another lap. "He turns his head away. Then turns it back to us." Did you take it? I assume you just took it?"

"What unit are you?" Steve asks pointing at his crewneck.

"58th para-rescue, but now I'm working at the VA." He explains. He extends his hand to Steve.

Who reciprocates and helps him to his feet." Sam Wilson.

"Steve Rogers."

"Charlette James but call me Charlie."  I introduced.

"I kinda put you two together." He pants.

"Must have freaked you out. Coming home after the whole defrosting thing."

Steve sighs." It takes some getting used to. Luckily I have some help."

He pulls me into his chest and wraps his arms around my waist.

"Flattery will get you nowhere my captain." I teased. I sunk into his arms.

"It's good to meet you Sam." Steve spoke. Steve and I start to walk away.

"It's your bed, right?"

We turn to face him. "What's that?"

"Your bed, it's too soft. When I was over there I'd sleep on the ground, use a rock for pillows, like a caveman. Now I'm home, lying in my bed and it's like."

"Lying on a marshmallow I'm gonna sink right to the floor." Steve finishes.

Sam nods. Putting two and two together I figured he served.

"How long?" I ask

"Two tours."

"You must miss the good old day, huh?"
