What Will It Take?

Chapter 3

'Finally its Friday!!!' I think to myself, as I get ready for school. The only days I will be excited about school is when it's my birthday or sometimes I get excited because it's Friday, being at school is not fun, well at least that's what I think you may have a different opinion but this is mine. Anyways, I was pulled out of my rain of thoughts when the bus suddenly stops and that's when I noticed we have arrived at school yay, note the sarcasm. As I'm getting out of the bus i see my friends waiting for me, 'what would I do without them' I thought to myself as I walk towards them and as usual I hug Red first then Evelyn, Mia, Nichole and lastly Anahi. We head to the entrance of our school all together with our little units as I like to call it. The reason I like to call it that is because we all hang out in pairs of two but like together. A way to explain it is that we all hang out together but Red and I talk to ourselves a lot, Mia and Nichole talk to each other as well and then there's Evelyn with Jack because Anahi doesn't sit with us. Oh have I mentioned that Evelyn and Jack have been going out for more than a year! Maybe not but now u know don't u? Anyways I left my friends a while back so we wouldn't be late to our classes. I enter my Ap Science class when I pass my teacher Mr. John, who is actually pretty cool not like some teacher's that are uptight. I take my seat wich is next to a window and I doze off during the lecture while its raining outside before I notice what's happening the bell rings to signal that it is time to go eat at lunch and I think 'I must have been really out of it' while heading to the cafeteria. Evelyn, Red and I were planning to go to the mall after school since we haven't gone in a while.
Time skip
We had been walking in the mall for about an hour so we went to the food court and decided to rest for a bit and then we would order some food for us. As I was sitting in my chair I saw this guy who is the new student at school enter the food court he was dressed in some black jeans, white T-shirt, and some Black Combers but I notice he's not alone he's with Manuel. I look back at the new guy to find out that he was looking at me as if he was checking me out. We made eye contact for like a minute before I broke it by looking away in embarrassment and when I look back up I see he's walking my way and I think 'shit'.
