-the next day-

There are some reports that children and teens have been reported missing, and there are syndicate that sells the organs of the said missing people. Now, thugs have been reported--

Ken turned off the television and sighed.

"Today's modern economy is sure dangerous, right?" Kath said.

"Yeah," Ken gazed up in the ceiling. Kath looked at him and said, "Is there something bothering you? If you have, tell me."

"It was about the girl earlier."

"The one Kathleen with?"

"Yeah." Kath lied on the couch, and Ken crossed his arms and looked at the loptop in front of him.

"Why? Are you interested on her?" Kath raised her eyebrow in a mischievous manner.

"Yes."

"Holy fucking shit! Are you going to exchange Kristi-" Kath cut off when Ken throwed a pillow on Kath.

"Idiot, no. She just holds something." Ken frowned. Kath looked at him and smirked. "Not the thing you are thinking about." He glared her.

"Ohhhh, like what?" Kath asked.

"Like she can make you remember the past."

"Eh"

"And--"

---

Hmph! It was five in the afternoon and Ken is still not going home yet. Where is he?!

"Kath, I'm home!" I heard Ken's voice downstairs. I ran downstairs and jumped into him, both of us fell on the floor.

"You've been out for years!" I said loudly and sat at his torso.

"Sorry," he rubbed the back his head and smiled sheepishly. And he added, "I have to extend because of this school project of ours." I stood and helped him to stand.

"Soooo, how about if you go to your room and rest!" I dragged him upstairs and go to his room. He looked exhausted from his almost expressionless face.

"Okay, okay, just stop dragging me." He said and I stopped. He opened the door and we walked in. He plopped down on his bed and I yawned. Currently, I am living with my cousin because of vacation. I hated when I'm with my parents, they are nothing but useless people. I liked -- no loved when I'm staying with Ken, even though he still had school, and he lives alone.

"Come here," Ken said and I followed him. I walked up to his bed because I know what he meant. He wanted me to sleep beside him.

And I'm more comfortable when I'm with him.

---

"Kath!"

"Eh!?... Uh... What?"

"Are you even listening?" Ken asked. Kath looked at him questionally. Ken sighed.

"Sorry! Can you repeat?"

"I'll just tell it to you later." Ken said and stood up. He walked towards to the front door and opened it.

"Wait, where are you going?" Kath asked.

"I'm going to meet up with Michael. Be back before five." Ken said and left.

'What the hell I just remembered?!'
