Chapter 5

Ken was tapping his shoes on the streets while impatiently waiting for Michael to come. He looked at his wrist watch to see it was nearly four in the afternoon, he was in that spot for an hour.

"Ah god dammit! Where the hell is he?!" He whispered.

"Hey, big brother!" He heard Kathleen yelled. He looked to his left to see his little sister worried about something, or someone. "Have you seen Leah? She's been missing!" She cried. Ken thinked. He just saw a girl running wearing a black shirt and leggings with a white scarf tied on her shoulders clamped by a white rose.

"I think she ran there and disappeared in that corner. Why?" Ken said and pointed the direction to his left.

"Sheleftherhatandbookwhenwearerunning." She said fast. Ken can barely catch up.

"Running...? From who?" He asked.

"From those bony creatures and getting the organs of the individuals!" Kathleen said loudly and she is shaking her arms, up and down. "And Sir Michael is living in that place!"

"What?! Where is that place?!" Ken asked.

"In the middle of Metropolis and Downtown!" Kathleen replied.

"Okay, I'm gonna go, if you see a big white house on the left corner that's where Leah had gone!" Ken said and ran to the said place, Kathleen ran to the house that Ken mentioned.

"Hmmm... What a cute, handsome guy." Someone said from afar. The person smirked and disappeared in a black mist.

"Shit," Ken looked from the sky. "It looks like it was going to have a storm in a few minutes or so...!" He ran faster and about a minute later he reached the place and stopped on the corner. He peaked from the wall to see the place covered with blood and there are corpses lying on either inside or outside of their cars and on the middle of the street. He observed the place to find it kinda safe and walked in.

"Hey Ken," someone called. Ken looked on both sides to find no one. "Up here." The voice said and Ken looked up to see Michael standing on a balcony. He ran upstairs, reaching Michael.

"What happened in here?!" Ken asked.

"Lower your voice, they are still here." Michael said and he dragged him inside to his apartment.

"Eh?" Ken looked around. "It feels like I'm in my own bedroom." He sat on the sofa. "So, what happened."

"There are some bloody bony shits with swords while their heads have a half of a human then kills all the humans that they see and gets their organs and disappeared in a forest." Michael said.

"As in a skeleton carrying a sword with it's head half like a human, it makes no sense." He said.

"Oh! I just got this from a certain hooded person, keep this and lets meet up at 12." Michael tossed a sliver card, Ken catched it in a swift move and looked at the small object.

"TERA Corp...." He read out aloud. "Wait a minute, this corporation or something seemed so very familiar..." He thinked.

"Is that so?" Michael asked.

"Yeah it was just like..." Ken started to draw a symbol that Michael can't understand.

"Whaaat? Man, I can't understand you." Michael said.

"Give me three papers and a pen." Ken said. Michael reached out for a paper lazily and give it at Ken.

"The pens are there." Michael pointed in front of Ken.

"I didn't see this thing sitting around in front of me." Ken said.

Michael raised his eyebrow and snickered, "Are you blind enough to not to see that?"

"Maybe," Ken joked. Michael slapped him behind of his head. "Ow!"

"So anyway, why do you need that? You know, papers and stuff." Michael asked.

"So here's the thing..." Ken started to draw lines and lines to looked like a blueprint of the building. "So the entrance is here with 5 width by 10 length in measurement and there are security cameras on the gate." Ken said. And turned the paper backwards and began to draw a metallic gate on the top right corner and he put two red dots with the pen he got. "So this will be the cameras and," he draw a line seperating the top first gate, numbering it as '1' and he draw a rectangle and had drawn a hallway leading to a door and he labeled it as 'security'. "This will be the room where we can turn that stupid cameras off. And it also had the controller room where we can activate the basement on this things." Ken draw a Computer Module and beside it was a Tech Pendant, VO Mounting Rack with an Encoder. "It was powered by Motor Drives, but it has another type, the Servo or Stepper Motors that is powered up into 24 axes, and it has a Ultra-High-Voltage or UHV, achieving a power output of 2 Petawatt(PW) (2×1015 W) for a duration of approximately 1 ps." He flipped the paper to go to the second paper to draw the top level of the building with a line of doors on both opposite sides. "The top level of the building is friggin' huge and it contained all the classified species of the laboratory 'till the 12th floor."

"So wait a minute, how exactly many the floors of this building?" Michael asked.

"20" Ken said blankly.

"Fuckin' 20!" Michael yelled. "Okay you can continue." He said.

"Okay...?" Ken looked at him weirdly. "All of this classified species are labeled as safe, euclid, and keter. It starts from 001, the 12th floor, to 2999, the last corner of the 20th floor."

"Wow... There are soooo many of those things." Michael said. Ken nodded. "You know this building? Then why not to find its location." Michael added. Ken flipped the paper to the third and last page.

"This place is very seculded by trees and above it -- the roof perhaps, is also seculded by the ground. So this huge thing appears to be a small wodden cottage in the middle of the forest that you can stay there if you are lost or whatsoever. So, if we are in the middle of the Metropolis and Downtown, we will enter the Spruce Woods, and go left. If we saw some old papers with some writings or drawings or maybe symbols, lets follow it until if we find the pine tree --- the only different tree, turn right and just go straight to the center of the woods to that small cottage." Ken explained.

"So, you are telling me to go in the woods in the middle of the night and go to some creepy small cottage that measures 5x10?!" Michael gasped.

"Dude, it was protected by this little shit." Ken said and put the card on the center of the table.

"Yeah but-"

"No buts, we have to kill this useless shits! The action will start approximately 1:00 in the morning." Ken said. "There's no turning back now. I have explained it all for all of it to end. So far, so forth, everything will fall into chaos if we didn't end this."
