"Oh yeah Mr. Genius? Aren't you great at everything? Everyone liked you!"
"Why don't you shut up?! You're annoying me!"
"You know what, I'm gonna end this."
"What?"
"I'm gonna end everything. No one actually needs me, all of them needs you."
"No Jeff, don't do this!"
"I need to, the laboratory needs you now, Ken."
"What do you mean by that?!"
"I'm finished. You're the next... test subject."
And he jumped off the building, falling into the road with a truck hitting him.
---
"Oh god!"
"Is there something wrong? You've fallen asleep on the couch like it was your bed." Kath said.
"No nothing." Ken sighed.
"You serious about nothing?"
"Yes."
"Oh by the way, those shitty ass monsters that you're saying about around Michael and Kristine's place are now gone. She had gone back to her house now since her mom is going to her place for a two-month-vacation." Kath said.
"Oh who cleared it?" Ken asked.
"Me, Michael and Bryan. The thing who created that shits are still unknown." Kath replied.
"Okay."
"You sure you are alright? You seemed a little off?"
"As I said, I am alright. I'm going to take a bath." Ken walked away.
"Are you not eating dinner? It's past 9 in the evening."
"Maybe not... I've lost my appetite today." He said and closed the door shut.
"He's probably having a hard time to sort the things out." Kath sighed.
"Yeah, and I'm surprised that he didn't noticed me standing here either."
"Jeff, don't mind him, I'm sure he won't remember any of your past together. Anyway, did you died when you jumped?"
"No," Jeff said.
"Then how-?!"
"Ya'see my dear sister,"
"What the fuck?"
Jeff chuckled. "Anyway, that one is a dummy. The real me actually had gone invisible hanging on the edge of the building."
"Ah, I see." Kath said. "But, how come you did not look like a 29-year-old man?" Kath asked. "Wait a minute, Ken is 28; Kristine is 27; and Michael is 29..." Kath thinked.
"We're oooooold." Jeff said.
"Jeff no, just no, you're too drunk." Kath face palmed.
"I'll go home." Jeff said.
"Bro, you're drunk, maybe you'll get hit with a truck again." Kath said.
"It was nothing~ hopefully Alex will not see me again~!" Jeff closed the door.
"Oh... Okay take.... care..."
