{ Epilogue }
{ 3 years and a bit later }
I'm watching my 3 year old son, playing in the backyard with our 3 month old puppy, Max, a Slovensky Cuvac. I know it's a little dangerous, but I keep a tight eye on the two of them.
"- Daddy!" Jayden suddenly screams and him and the dog run towards the gate, where Kendall comes out of the car.
"- Hey buddies!" The dog barks a cute and squeekie noise. I laugh.
"- Come on guys, let your daddy come in." I walk towards them and take Jayden by his and try to distract the dog with a biscuit.
"- How are my girls doing?" Kendall asks before kissing me on my mouth. You must be thinking: girls? There's only one girl... But no. I'm 6 months pregnant from our second child and it's a girl.
"- Your girls are doing great." I answer him.
"- I'm going to make sure your both okay." He says and starts talking to my baby bump.
"- Hello baby girl, how are you doing?" He kisses it. I can feel the baby kicking.
"- I think she's fine." I laugh, while Kendall rubs his nose, clearly not expecting that.
"- Woah, she's going to be a damn good danser!" And now he's laughing too.
"- Mommy can I feel your bump?" Little Jayden asks, jealous of me and Kendall acting lovely.
"- Sure." I lift my t-shirt up so that he can place his little hand on my round belly.
"- Mommy, it's moving." He looks a little afraid.
"- Now, that little guy, is your little sister moving in your mothers belly." Kendall tells him.
"- Oh..." My little guy looks confused.
"- Let's go inside, drinking some lemonade.
- Yeey!" He shouts. He runs inside, into the kitchen already trying to open the refridgerator with his tiny fingers. Kendall helps him and hands him his cute little sippy cup, filled with his favorite lemonade.
"- Daddy, can you play something for me?" He asks.
"- Of course little man." Ever since he was born, Kendall plays him a song every single day.
"- Wich one do you want to hear.
- Surprise me." He says fast, taking another sip of his cup. This sounded really funny, so I laugh.
"- Okay. Than I'll play your mommies favorite song.
I don't know why you Always get so insecure,
I wish you could see what I see
when you're looking in the mirror
And why don't you believe when I say
That to me you look more beautiful every day
when you're looking at the magazines
and thinking that you'll never mesure up
you're wrong...
Cause you're my cover, cover girl
I think you're a superstar
yeah you are
why don't you know?
Yeah you're so pretty
that it hurts
It's what's underneath your skin
the beauty that shines within
you're the only one that rocks my world
my covergirl ohohohoh
my covergirl ohohohoho
You're walking rainboots on a perfect summer day
somehow you Always see the dark side
when everythings okay
you wear baggy clothes to camouflage your shape
whoa, but you know that I love you, the way your made
when you're looking at the magazines
and thinking that you're just not good enough
you're so wrong baby
cause you're my cover, cover girl,
I think you're a superstar
yeah you are, why don't you know
yeah you're so pretty, that it hurts,
it's what's underneath your skin
the beauty that shines within
you're the only one that rocks my world
my cover girl
You've got a heart of gold
the perfect original
wish you would stop being so hard on yourself for a while
and when I see you're face
I'd try a Thousand ways
I would do anything to make you smile
Cause you're my cover cover girl
I think you're a superstar
yeah you are, why don't you know,
yeah you're so pretty
that it hurts
It's what's underneath your skin
the beauty that shines within
you're the only one that rocks my world
my cover girl
oh my cover girl
ohohoh my covergirl
ohhhohoho my covergirl.
Every single time he sings that song to me, it makes me cry. It makes me feel special again, like the moment I found out that me, the bullied girl at school, had a crush on the popular guy and he had a crush on me too... That moment, that's a moment that I will cherish forever <3
