Sting's POV

I smiled as I watched my comrades play in the pool I had added to the guild. I heard a scream, and snapped my head to where I saw Yukino swimming towards a pink lump in the water. That was until Frosch lifted his head from the water, and started to giggle. My grin widened when I saw Lector cheering for his friend from his spot by the pool.

"Frosch can swim, Frosch can swim!" Frosch shrieked, as she swam towards the now happy Yukino. I looked to Rogue to congratulate him on his exceed being able to swim. Only to find him by the pool already, crying tears of joy.

"Good job Frosch! I am so proud of you!" He sobbed, wiping his tears on his sleeve as he watched Yukino and Frosch swim around the pool. I shook my head before laughing. This is what a guild is supposed to be about.

Laughter, joy, and good memories to hold forever. I'm so glad to have learned that, and have it implemented into our guild. I watch as my guild-mates play about, doing as they want. Instead of being forced to go on missions, or train all the time.

I'm glad to see how the guild has changed so drastically, though the scars of the past still lurk. A flash of dark hair, and fierce eyes dance in my mind before vanishing. I turn away from them, and walk back inside the guild. I study the guild hall, noticing slight differences. A feeling of comfort that had only recently filled the place that once was the breeding grounds for fear.

I continue down the hall, before climbing the tower to where our princess once lived. I stare at the door, thinking about where she might have gone. The memory of the night before she left, she was more passive-aggressive than usual. Yet as I remember and analyze it, there was a spark of what I believe to have been fear. I later heard a rumor she had joined a dark guild. If she did, she had the right to do as she wished. Sabertooth probably held the worst memories for her, and she wished to escape them.

"Sting, what're you doing up here?" Rogue questioned as he stepped over the top step, his eyebrows slightly furrowed. I grin, and grab his arm, dragging him down the steps with me.

"Just checking something out. So what's up?" I ask as we walk down the hall again. I look through a window, and see Frosch is still in the pool, swimming with Yukino.

"Fairy Tail has called for a gathering, something's happened. They think the Princess might be involved. They only want the Guild masters there though, so we must not tell the rest of the Guild for now." Rogue informed me as we stepped out of Sabertooth, and began our walk to Fairy Tail.

Out of the corner of my eyes I swore I saw someone with dark hair, and tigress eyes. Though when I turned, no one was there. I shook my head before continuing on my way to Fairy Tail. When we arrived, I noticed the Guild Masters of all the best guilds on the continent were here. Lamia Scale, Mermaid Heel, Blue Pegasus, and even Quatro Puppy.

"Something big is about to happen, people from the council are dropping like flies. We want to make sure that every Guild master is aware. So you may decide what to do to protect your Guilds, and yourselves." Master Makarov said from where he sat on the bar, tapping his staff gently to a quiet rhythm. The Great Titania, stood by his side, her eyes holding a spark of power. Along with Mirajane the Demon, who smiled kindly.

"I think it would be best if we stayed in contact with each other. If anything is to happen to one, everyone else must be alerted so that we may assist, and do what we can for each other. As for now, Fairy Tail will be leading an investigation on this, and we will keep you all updated on what we find." Erza spoke, her voice holding that undertone of strength. If Makarov ever stepped down, I would think she would be a good option, though from what I've been told. It's already been settled to give to another Powerful Wizard within the Guild.

Fairy Tail had a lot of great Wizards, as do many of the Guilds here. Though Fairy Tail has had it right from the beginning. While a lot of Guilds like Sabertooth, had a rough start getting to the camaraderie that truly made a guild. Fairy Tail has always had that within their hearts, and it transcended into nearly everyone they came into contact with.

"If you know anything, or hear anything suspicious that could relate to the deaths of the Council members-- Contact us." Mirajane told us, her usually calm and kind face darkening. I looked to Rogue, and raised an eyebrow.

"What does this have to do with the Princess?" I questioned, and he shook his head before pointing to where the Fairy Tail Mages stood.

"We have already found some leads, though. Witnesses have told us of Wizards with powers beyond normal comprehension. Sabertooth, witnesses have spoken of demons who looked a lot like your past master, and Minerva." Erza said, as she looked directly at us, I nodded my head. I felt a surge of fear go through me at the possibility of Jiemma being alive, but I shook it off. She continued on, her expression turning to a grimace.

"My team has come into contact with Minerva before this though. From what we've been told, she has switched alliances from Succubus Eye, to some other Dark Guild." She looked to the ground, her brow furrowing.

"We will manage our own, don't concern yourselves with it. Is there anything else?" I asked, and she looked to Makarov who nodded his head. He stood to his feet, and I could feel a bit of his magic escaping him. It was like a warmth wrapping around us.

"Everything I do, is for the protection of my brats, and my Guild. Every evil that haunts us, we have fought off together. Every tear that has been shed, every drop of blood that has spilled, and every battle we have fought. We've done it together, never alone, because that is what a guild is all about. I want you all to remember that. Because we Guild Masters must, so that we can protect those we love." His short speech stirred something in us all, I could feel it. It made something in me slide around.

"For Our Guilds!" I shouted, and the cheers of the Guild masters shook our surroundings. While we could hope for good, I could sense a darkness fast approaching. But as the New Guild master of Sabertooth, I would protect my family.

Hi, I'm kind of not used to leaving an ending Author's note. But I've seen a lot of other Authors do it, so I wanted to give it a try. So far it's been good, though for those of you who read this, it'd be really cool if I got a vote. I would just like to give a warning that updates might be sporadic sometimes. But I will try my hardest to update once a week.

Sting: What the hell is this place? And who are you?

AHHHHHH!

Sting: Oh my goodness! Why are you screaming?!

AHHHHHH!

Rogue: Hey, Sting... I just found this note, and it transported me here. What is this place?

Oh, I'm sorry for screaming. I'm just kind of nervous, could you please tell the readers *Whispers to Rogue & Sting*

Sting: Yeah, we can do that.

Sting & Rogue: All Characters belong to Hiro Mashima! Not our lovely Author! Only some of the angst and a bit of the plot!
