Yusuke(brothers conflict)

I watched as the teacher passed out papers from the last test. The teacher said that the people who failed will require tutors or need to study hard. Otherwise, they would fail the semester. Almost everyone frowned,cried,or let out sighs of relief through the whole process. I saw her walking toward me ,and she placed the paper face down in my desk. At first ,I thought I might have slipped up somewhere by the way she placed my paper. Hesitantly, I flipped it over but then a smile graced itself on my lips. I made a 95.

I was so happy. I was gonna pass. The bell rang and I was about to walk out when I heard my name.

"___ can you come here for a second. I turned around and saw the teacher at her desk along with Yusuke. I let out a sigh. He seems to avoid me for some reason. Yusuke always turns away from me when I look his way or hangs his head when I turn to ask him something. To be honest, I think he doesn't like me.

" okay here is the deal. I need you to tutor Yusuke until the exams come around. I talked to his other teachers and they agreed he needs help also. I want you to try and meet up every day for now on to prepare for the exam " she explained

"Wait don't I get a choice in this. Besides, what do I get from tutoring him"

"Y-yeah I can study on my own like everyone else. "

The teacher raised her eyebrow and a smirk played on her face. " Don't worry ___. You get extra credit from every teacher you both have,which I believe is all of them. " she explained " as for you, you said you would study the last hundred times I talked to you after class. It will do you good to have some one on one interaction. " with those words she left us in her empty room.

It was quiet at first but then I started walking out the door." Come on,we can study at the library nearby. " I turned around and saw him rooted in place staring at the desk. I couldn't tell at first,but it looked like a tint of pink was on his face.  I shook my head and grabbed his hand to drag him out the class room.

" huh, w-what are you doing." He asked

"Going to the library of course. We need to study as much as we can" I said with a smile before guiding us toward the library. Little did I know, a massive blush was playing on the red head's face as he looked at our hands.

It has been a few weeks since the studying and it has been going well. We have somehow connected in a way that I thought wasn't possible. At first, I thought he hated me but maybe he is just shy. Nowadays, I actually see him smile towards me,and we laugh together during breaks and call each other on weekends. If it wasn't for the tutoring, I would have never noticed what a nice person Yusuke is.

I closed my locker and turned around to see the red head waiting for me."Ready to go?"

"Yeah lets go" he said then gently grabbed my hand. Another thing, ever since I took his hand the first day we started the session holding hands was a thing with us for some reason. He laced his fingers through mine and we started walking out the building. It seemed like a normal day so far, but I felt different.

My heart was beating faster, I was self aware of myself,and I think I feel my face warming up. What is wrong with me all of a sudden? Am I sick?

I was lost in thought for a second before I heard my name being said. I looked to the side and my eyes widened. Three girls were looking our way,one of them in my English class, and two were glaring daggers at me. I tried to listen closer but as we walked farther away the less I heard. But one thing I thought I heard was Yusuke's name.
