'There is no way im going to be able to get any sleep tonight' I texted Abby.
'Why not? Its just some dumb project' she replied. But I couldn't stop thinking about it
'Because I hate group projects and if I am paired with a guy like what we've heard. Im gonna end up doing all the work.' It was already midnight and I already knew i was going to get zero sleep tonight
'Why cant you just let the matter drop? We don't even know if we are doing to project.' I could tell she was getting annoyed. But I knew this project wad going to happen even though I am wishing from the bottom of my heart that it won't
'I dont like history. Its so dumb' I texted back
'I feel ya sister but hey maybe you'll get paired with a certain bad boy????' She replied. I am praying to the dear lord that I will have anyone but Luke as my partner.
'If I get paired with luke I am officially moving schools!' I will do anything so I won't have to work with him
'Stop trying to hide the fact that you likee him!' I knew now that this subject will keep occurring for a good amount of time.
'There's nothing to hide. I. Don't. Like. Him. End of story' I told her
'Whatever' was all she replied back with
'This conversation is over. Good night' I told her
'Okay. Whatever you say chicka. Goodnight' she answers
With that I turn my alarm to 6:40 for tomorrow and set the song to heart attack by Demi and she my phone on my night stand and turned my lamp off.
I dont even care if we have the project as long as I am not paired with luke. Was what I kept telling myself.
But deep down I kinda felt as if I really did want to be his partner. But I couldn't think anymore as my eyelids kept gaining more and more weight until I couldn't keep them open anymore and I drifted into what i hoped was a dreamleas sleep.

"Putting my defenses out cause I dont wanna fall in love. If I ever did that..." my alarm clock blared in my ear and finally I couldn't take it any more and I slammed my hand on my phone. I could have broken it but I didn't care.
Once I got enough courage to roll out of bed I but my fuzzy socks on and opened my window.
I couldn't see anything because of the fog...this is great! I quickly got my phone and calls Abby
It took her until the last ring to finally pick up.
"Hello?" I probably just woke her up but I didn't care.
"Look outside!" I screened Into the phone.
"Why? I swear if it snowed this early im going to cry!"
"No! Its super foggy and you cant see a thing!" I screemed Into the phone. I really dont know why I am so happy because I dont even know if we delayed yet.
"I just got a text from the school...we cancelled!" Now she was screaming into the phone as well
"Thank the love..." I was cut off by my aunt...shes been coming over when my dad is at work go check on me
"Honey come down here I have to tell you something!" She probably just wants me to do more chores
"Hey I got to go ill call you back and we can hang out today" I told Abby
"Alright. See ya later love" she replied and we both hung up.
I threw on an old crew neck and went downstairs to see what my aunt tina wanted to tell me.
"What did you want to tell me tia?" I asked as I walked into the kitchen
"Im aunt Tina missy but im leaving for work but you have new neighbors and they have a son your age. So I invited him to come hang with you since he already goes to your school." She told me with a huge smile on her face.
"Do I know him?" I questioned
"I really don't know. He is sort of a trouble maker but thats all I know" she told me as she started gathering her things for work.
"Alright. I'm see you later AUNT tina...love you!" I called out to her.
"Love you too! He will be here within the hour!" She called as she entered her car
I wonder who the new neighbor boy is. I couldn't stop thinking about it while I ate my frosted flakes. I guess I will call Abby and tell her we cant hang out today
I got her voice mail...she probably went back to bed.
"HEY its abby im either busy, sleeping, or I dont want to answer my phone. Leave a message!" I chuckled at her voicemail.
"Hey Abs its me I just rang because we cant hang out today. We got new neighbors and they have a guy my age and Tina invited him to hang with me since he goes to our school...see you tomorrow bye!"
I decided to read a book until the mystery neighbor boy came over... hes probably going to be a nerdy kid who gets in trouble because he steels books from the library or something. Im probably going to have no fun.
I heard a car roll into the driveway so I looked out the window and saw a black Chevy camaro... dang. He must be pretty rich.
Ding dong...i really dont want to see who my new neighbor is but I cant hide forever. So I opened the door
"Hey welc..." I looked who was at the door and I think my mouth hit the ground.
"Well if it isn't miss nerd. Well your life just got a lot better." Luke Parker said with his signature smirk.
Oh god.
"You're my new neighbor?!" I gasped
"Guess so cupcake. But you might want to close your mouth be for you catch flies...unless... I could close it for you." I immediately closed my mouth.
I want to smack that smirk off his face.
"See something you like babygirl?" There's that smirk.
"Shut up. I told him and walked to thr kitchen and left the door open for him to come in.
'Can this get any worse?' I said to myself.
"Oh you have no idea." I turned around and there be was...
