One Year Left To Live: A Dricki Fanfic

Chapter 2

Nicki woke up around 10:30am. It was later than she normally did. She heard a knock on her bedroom door.

Nicki: come in

Aubrey then came strolling into her room holding a small pink teddy bear.

Aubrey: happy friendship day beautiful

Nicki: aww you remembered

Aubrey: I could never forget.

He gave her a hug.

Aubrey: so what do you wanna get up to today

Nicki: hmm. Something calm but cute

Aubrey: what do you have in mind

Nicki: we could go to a park or field or something

Aubrey: sounds great. I'll go pick a few things while you get ready then I'll come back to pick you up

Nicki: okay

With that he smiled and walked out of her room...

Nicki and drake arrived at a massive field. There was no one else there so it was just them.

Nicki: this is perfect

Drake: just us

Nicki: yeah

Drake: come on

They got out of the car and went and found a perfect spot. They laid out a blanket across the floor and sat down.

Drake: it's a nice day isn't it.

Nicki: lovely day

Drake then stood up and did a handstand. He held it for a bit before standing up again.

Nicki: you're getting better

Drake: why thank you

He put one hand on either side of her as she lay on the blanket and did another one. She squealed and laughed.

Nicki: brey if you fall on me I will actually kill you

Drake: aw is nicki scared.

Nicki: stop

He stood again then laughed.

Drake: I could never hurt you.

Nicki: I know. I'm too precious.

Drake: yeah right

She gasped.

Nicki: how rude

They both laughed.

Nicki: so what you doing tomorrow.

Drake: well I have to go into college but I get out at about 2

Nicki: oh right.

Drake: what about you

Nicki: probably gonna stay at home the whole time. Have to put up with my mum all day

Drake: hey it's not that bad.

Nicki: yeah it's terrible.

He laughed.

Drake: well do you want me to come to yours when I finish

Nicki: I'd rather come to yours.

Drake: okay then

Drake was still stood so he decided to walk off.

Nicki: brey where are you going

Drake: for a walk. Care to join me

Nicki: sure.

He took her hand into his and the walked around the huge field.

When they got back to their picnic blanket they just sat and decided to go through the food they had.

Drake: catch

He threw a grape at her and it hit her.

She gasped and he laughed. She then threw one back at her. It ended up as a food fight between the two as they continued throwing food at each other. Drake then got hold of her and tickled her. He didn't stop until she was in tears. He was now hovering over her as they calmed their breathing.

They looked at each other for a while, passing emotions , but using no words. The moment got awkward and drake moved away from nicki and went and got some drinks out of his bag.

Drake: drink ?

Nicki: yeah please

He passed her one and they drank in silence.

Nicki knew that drake liked her but didnt want to admit it. She also liked him but knew this time next he would be heart broken.

They spent the rest of their afternoon just enjoying the time they had to spend together as BestFriends, but their true feelings were deeper than that....

It's short I know , but I've been super busy :/ the next chapter will be longer I promise and I'm gonna update this one ever Tuesday but that might not always happen as I have dance on Tuesday nights. Anyway comment please.
