Chapter Three of Prison Night has come!! I'm excited for this Chapter--hopefully it will be longer than the previous chapters! Haha. I would just like to thank you guys for reading and voting on this. It means...the WORLD to me, it really does and I could not have done this without all of you awesome people!

In the words of Marcel: You're cute as a button, every single one of you!

Haha. Sorry. No more delays! And, NO, I will NOT be writing a One Direction/Marcel fan fiction. There's no way I could tackle that. As for Different, I'm still brainstorming for that one. If you guys have any ideas, just PM me. It would mean alot. :)

Now, on with Chapter Three! :3

Two guards—dead. One grew ill and the other…shot herself.

Colton sat on his cot, knees tucked into his chest, arms wrapped tightly around his legs, eyes closed. Gears were turning in his head as he tried desperately to figure out what was going on. What was that all about?  Was there some sort of plague on the outside of the prison?

He laughed. No way, he thought to himself.

The jingle of keys caught his attention. His eyes flew open, shining brightly. Low murrmuring could be heard further down the corridor, and Colton pick out small pieces of what may have been a conversation.

"We only have to--"

"Give me the keys and I'll--"

"Hurry, we don't have much time!"

Keys jingled again. Colton swung his legs over the edge of the cot and rose to his feet just as someone slid into view. He inserted the key into the metal pad and turned, pulling the door back on the track. "What the hell are you--?" Colton started, but the prisoner raised a finger to his lips and stepped into the cell.

"You know what happened yesterday, don't you?" The man asked, his voice deep, yet soft. Colton nodded. "The guard puked his guts out, collapsed, and then another guard shot herself. That's happening all around the prison, dude."

"What?" Colton scoffed, not believing. Yes, what happened earlier was strange. But it was nothing. It wasn't something big.

"Guards and other prisoners are doing that same crap, dude," a new voice spoke up, awed, as he slid in behind the gruff man and into Colton's cell. "We need to get out of here, and quickly. Or, you can stay here while the rest of us escape with our lives."

Leaving the prison was tempting. But there was no way this was something to panic about. Colton's chest heaved and his mind reeled with decision. I don't want whatever happened to those guards to happen to me, Colton thought to himself. His eyes were clear as he looked from one prisoner to the other, their expressions calm as they waited for his decision. "Lead the way."
