/Alex's POV:/
I was awake. I was alive. I was late. Shit!
I jumped out of bed and the cold air surrounded me, I longed to crawl back under the warm blue duvet, but I only had 10 minutes to get ready!
I pulled on some black tights, shorts, a cute top and my black converse, and quickly put my faded red hair into a high pony tail - happy with how I looked for once. There was no time for breakfast, so I grabbed my bag and went for the door...I ran.

What was my first class? Ugh English. I didn't mind it that much, it was actually one of my favourite subjects, it's just that my teacher always calls on me to answer questions, EVERY SINGLE TIME!
I made my way to the back of the class, trying hard not to sing along to 'Kids in the dark' by All Time Low playing through my earphones.
Today we were studying Macbeth. Old boring Shakespeare that literally no one understands.
My thoughts were interrupted by the familiar droning voice of my teacher "Alex? Can you please read Lady Macbeth's part"
Too anxious to say no, I obliged, sweating nervously as I awaited my lines. It finally got to my line, and I spoke it quietly, hands shaking, palms sweating. All eyes were on me I could feel it, my voice quivered at the thoughts of people sniggering about the freak.
I trailed off as someone opened the door, YES! Saved by the bell.. Door..?
"Thanks Alex, but I'd just like to introduce our new student that has just moved here from Australia! I hope you'll all give him a warm welcome, and your name is?"HOLY CRAP! Did I die and go to heaven? Who was this boy? This angel? This...
"Luke."
