Chas and Aaron waited impatiently at the hospital for some news on Teagan. Belle, Jacob and David were also there, as they were her best friends, and David cared about Teagan like his own.

"Why haven't they told us anything yet?!" Jacob demanded. He was freaking out the most. He and Teagan had barely spoken since she got back from Ireland, except from when he confronted her in the cafe and she ran off. He had to talk to her; he had to know why she'd shut him out. He cared about her too much to lose her. He might even go as far as saying he loves her.

"We'll probably here something soon, just stay calm, Jakey." David told the boy, wrapping an arm around him. A nurse then came out of Teagan's room, and the five of them stood up abruptly.

"How is she? Is she okay?" Aaron asked worriedly.

"Miss Teagan should be just fine, she just has a few cuts and bruises." The nurse told them.

"So, why do you look so concerned?" Chas asked, not caring if she sounded too pushy or rude.

"Although Teagan is fine, the baby-"

"Baby? What baby?!" Jacob interrupted.

"What's wrong with the baby?" Chas asked.

"It doesn't seem to be doing too well. It's too early to tell, as she's only twelve weeks, but it may not survive." The nurse explained.

"What do you mean it's too early to tell?! When will you be able to tell?!" Aaron demanded.

"We'll know more when she comes for her next scan, at twenty weeks." The nurse said.

"Does Teagan know about this?" Chas asked.

"Not yet." The nurse said.

"Okay, well, don't tell her. Let us do it." Chas said. The nurse nodded in agreement.

"You can see her now if you'd like." She said. Aaron and Chas went in first, to see the teenage girl laying on the hospital bed. She head a cut on her forehead and a cut on her left cheekbone, both stitched with butterfly stitches.

"Teagan," Aaron breathed, as he and Chas walked over to her bed.

"Hey." Teagan rasped, sitting up slightly.

"Are you okay, darling?" Chas asked her only daughter.

"I've got a bit of a headache, but I'll be okay." She replied. She seemed fairly happy for someone who had just been run over, and Aaron and Chas now had to destroy that happiness.

"Teagan, there's something we need to tell you." Aaron told her slowly.
