It has been a few weeks since Yukino-taicho was recognized as our new division captain along with the other new capatains. And yeah, she allowed me to call her by her firstname. Well, she was the one who suddenly said to call her by her firstname.
I also noticed that Yukino-taicho likes to eat salty foods especially when she's taking a break from the paperworks. And to my surprise, when she ate one of those cakes that Kuchiki-taicho and Ukitake-taicho brought her when they visited the barracks, Yukino-taicho just fell asleep in an instant. Ukitake-taicho told me that Yukino-taicho gets more energetic and hyper when she eats salty foods. So that's whay she prefers salty foods.
"Eeeek!!!"
I heard her screaming while I was passing by her room. I was so worried so I immediately came to her room, and found her on top of the table with a freaked out face.
"Taicho? What are you doing there?" I asked, confused at what I'm seeing.
"A s-spider..." She said with a trembling voice as she point at the bug on the foot of the table.
I got a piece of paper fron the table and used it to carry the spider out the room.
"Are you okay now, Yukino-taicho?" I asked with a grin.
"Yeah. Thanks, Lieutenant Hisagi." She said as she got off the table.
"I didn't thought that captain Yukino Shihoin was scared of spiders. I said with a grin.
"Well, I can't help it, stupid Hisagi." She said as she turned her back at me with her arms crossed with an annoyed tone.
I found that reaction of her very cute. Well, everything about her is cute, and I liked every single of it. Wait, what am I thinking?! She's my captain... Yeah, that's it, she's the captain of the division I am in. So, there's no reason for me to not like her.
Just a few moments later, someone came in the room reporting that there's this Hollow wreaking havoc in town. And that 9th division's first unit is having trouble holding the Hollow down.
"Taicho." I called.
"Ah, let's go." Yukino-taicho said in a serious tone.
"Hai." I answered.
We flash stepped to the town immediately to find the said Hollow breaking through the houses.
"Reap, Kazeshini!" I threw Kazeshini ay the Hollow to have the chain wrap at it. Now it is unable to move. As it struggle to break out, yukino-taicho moved forward with her two unsheated zanpakutos.
Before she was able to hit the Hollow, it was able to break the chains.
"Yukino-taicho!" I gasped as I see the Hollow slashed its sharp claws at Yukino-taicho. Luckily, she was able to block it, and flash stepped away from it.
"Yukino-taicho, are you okay? I asked. And she nodded.
"Lieutenant Hisagi, try to bind him with your zanpakuto's chains again. This time it won't fail." She ordered.
"Hai." I answered, and did what she said. I threw Kazeshini at the Hollow one more time and wrapped the chain around it.
Yukino-taicho once again charged in and onve the Hollow broke out, it once again slashed its claws and Yukino-taicho blocked again.
"Lieutenant Hisagi, take it down now!" She ordered.
As the Hollow continued to slash its claws at Yukino-taicho, who was blocking every attack, I charged in to slash the Hollow's head in one attack. Yukino-taicho flash stepped out of the way and I slashed the Hollow's head in half. It the disappeared into ashes.
