Chapter 16

This is her dad and his fiancée's house.

I pulled into the driveway of my dad's house and I see my dad come out of the house with his fiancé and my dog. I get out of my car and we all hug and stuff like that.

"How was the drive here sweetie?"

"It was ok. Traffic was kind of a nightmare.".

"I bet. I'm happy your here though."

"Same dad".

"I'll get your stuff unloaded while you just rest", said my dad.

"Thanks dad".

I walked into the living room and texted Avery and Harry I made it. Then a text from Avery saying she had made it.

"It's great having you here dear", said Melissa.

"I love being here. I missed everything. I missed dad and even you".

"What would you like for dinner tonight?"

"Doesn't matter to me".

"How about I ask your father if we could go out to eat".

"I'd be ok with that". She laughed.

"Alright I'll ask him once he's done with your things".

Melissa has been more of a mom then my actual mom. She was always saying how proud she was of me and everything a mom should be and do.

I felt my phone vibrate. It was a text from Harry.

Glad you made it. Can't wait til July to see you in person. It's almost June now. So hopefully it won't be that bad of a wait knowing I'll get to see you.

I smiled. Harry was something else.

"Is that a boy your texting?"

"Maybe."

I haven't told my dad about Harry yet so I figure I might as well now.

"Well he better watch out". He laughed.

"Oh dad. The boy is Harry Styles. We've been texting and calling each other for a while now".

"Wow Harry Styles. The guy you've always had a crush on".

"Yup".

My dad knew about One Direction because being a music producer he kinda has to keep up with pop culture.

"Congrats I guess. I mean at least I know he'll treat you right".

"We're kinda just friends right now. He wants to talk about us in July".

"Ah".

"Also I wanted to ask if he could possibly stay here".

"Sure. As long as there's no funny business".

"Dad. In not a little girl anymore".

"I know but you'll always be my little girl".

"Aww dad".

"Oh Melissa asked me if we could go out for dinner. I told her it was up to you so do you wanna go out to your favorite place?"

"Sure. I'm sure no one feels like cooking since it's Friday anyway".
