"Just leave me alone!" I pleaded not wanting to face them. They were after me, I didn't want to stop. I made a quick turn thinking it was a shortcut, turns out just another dead end. I tried running back the way I came from, but it was too late, they were already there blocking the only way out of this dead end alley.

"Looks like theres no way you're getting out of this one, are you Laney? No. Way. Out." They kept walking towards me as if they were leopards with an edge of sassy-ness in their attitudes. I kept backing myself until the brick wall prevented me from going any further back. With no full breath escaping my lungs, and a face full of fear and freshly drying tears, I let my weak and fragile body sink to the floor. I just sat there... lifeless.

"What do you want from me?!" I cried harder as I finished getting the words to come out my mouth. With every step they took closer to me, I prayed and hoped that much stronger... that much longer... I laid down on the cold, hard, bare ground while struggling to curve up into a ball.

"The same thing I wanted since the beginning of the year." she clenched her teeth and formed strong fists. I felt their shadows creep up on my body. Chocking back on a loadful of tears, I just gave up. I lifted up my arm carefully and shielded my face with whatever strength I had left. Within the next few seconds, I felt punches.... kicks... strangling.... biting..... scratching.... and I felt my life slowly fade away with every moment of impact from their violence. With every punch, kick, bite, scratch, and everything else imaginable... I cried out in such pain and agony, but they hardly escaped my lips. Each yelp of pain sounded like a small squeal. I didn't have enough voice to make it a full scream.

The next thing I knew, I felt a sudden release. I felt the breeze of the fresh cool air brush against my skin and move away my hair. It was because she had backed up from my body but didn't move. She just stood there as if expecting me to move... expecting me to get up... to give her more reasons to beat me up... to just let out all her anger on me. I stayed there laying on the ground unable to move a muscle.

One of her girls that she had for back-up took something out of her sweater pocket and gave it to her. She grasped it firmly in her hands and exposed a small grin on her face. I couldn't move even if I wanted to. I could barely see clearly since they punched me countless times on my face. She slowly came towards me one last time.

"Get up!" she yelled with force. The other two girls grabbed my arms and lifted me up with what seemed to be no effort. Tears still ran down my cheeks. Fear hardly expressed on my face anymore. Trying to breathe, I tried to find any energy I had and use it to lift up my head to see what she was going to do next. With blurred vision, I saw it. I saw what she was holding in her hand. I wanted to yell scream and run away while I still could. But it was no use. I had no strength. I had no voice. I was completely lifeless at this moment.

She ran full speed ahead towards me. She lifted up the scissors let out a fierce, angry yell, and slammed it down hard into my chest. I panicked and managed to let out choked gasps as the two girls finally dropped me. With laughter fading, my body dropped to the ground landing on the scissors first. As my the scissors made contact with the ground I felt a gruesome, sharp pain and I knew that the scissors had been pushed deeper into my chest. Then the next thing I know, everything turned black.
