I ran back to my house as fast as I could. Come on, This wasn't real! Legolas was only a fictional character Tolkien wrote! Surely there was a mistake! But what about Georgina?! Could I possibly forget that Georgina, my best friend, had elf ears! Was this the reason she wasn't in the dining hall at break, was always dismissed in class and went the wrong way after school? To meet a fictional character: Legolas.
I had a restless sleep that night. Memories flooded my head of how she flung back her hair to reveal pointed ears and how she hugged him with open arms! Tomorrow, for sure, I was going to confront her. The next morning I woke up stiff. I had slept weirdly, and my back felt like it would snap when I stood up. As soon as I woke up, the memory's replayed over and over. I walked to school, and I went passed that forest, I Began just staring right into it. I realised that I would never look at that Forrest the same again, never Mind Georgina!
When I got to school, I grabbed Georgina by the arm and pulled her up to the upstairs corridor. I began telling her about last night, and when I mentioned elf, she grabbed me and through me into the toilets. "You must never tell anyone!" She panicked, "Please!" She pleaded. But I had to! Could I keep this disturbing secret? I couldn't believe this! I was talking to an elf!
