Jumping from tree to tree isn't all the bad. In time, I make my way to dining room to assist them and stuff. I wasn't worried about anything now. I was just thinking about Daniel for some reason. Odd...
When I finally made it there, Ciel and Alois, along with their butlers, were getting up from a clean table. I was kinda confused. They ate dinner in 10 minutes?
"Done already?" I asked trying to formulate what happened. "Of course not. We had a last minute invitation to a ball." Ciel said with a hint of annoyance in that one ocean blue eye of his. "Yep! Claude and Sebastian are going too!" Alois giddily said.
I already knew they were going, they go with them everywhere. "Go get ready." Alois demeanor changed and he gave me a cold glare. But then turned into a happy smirk with a devious look in his eyes. "Why yes. Go get ready." Ciel said with a slight grin.
"Pardon me?" I asked. He told me to get ready? I never went along to these type of social events. "You heard him. Get ready now." My dad piped up from the background. "You will be attending along with us, Grace also." Claude added.
"What?!" Grace popped her head in. I assumed she finished her job of hiding those notes. "Just go get ready." The two earls said in an annoyed tone in unison. "Yes of course.." I replied uncertainly as I turned to join Grace, who was outside of the room.
"How do we get ready? Retie our ponytails?" I asked sarcastically, considering I don't have that many dresses. "Haha I dunno. Lets head back to your room and figure things out-" Grace cut off as she opened my bedroom door to see two large ball gowns on my bed.
"Guess these are for us... Look's like Alex has to stay home alone, considering that David goes anywhere your dad does." I sighed and held up the dress that had the piece of paper with my name on it.
The dress I held up was a full-length, black with hints of red, eighteenth century ballroom dress. The dress was tight around the stomach and had a pleated skirt and the dress itself went well with my straight black hair and blood red eyes. The single red rose on my right side was a great addition.
I looked towards Grace who was looking at her dress with wide, sparkling eyes. She admired the also full length, white, eighteenth century dress. It was quite tight around the stomach and poofed out at the waist to the ankle. It complemented her dark brown hair and hazel eyes.
"Oh I love it! Alois knows me so well!" She happily hugged the dress and was jumping up and down.
"This'll be an interesting night.. They know I hate dresses.." I sighed and gave in. "Let's hurry so we leave on time." I went to another room so she could get ready.
After ten minutes of trying to get use to my new attire, I walked back to my room to see Grace twirling around with her brown hair twirling as well. "This is perfect!" She looked at me with wide eyes. "Wow! I've never seen you in a dress!" I sighed. "Yeah yeah yeah. Lets go and get the night over with." I sighed again and tried to smile. As I tightened my ponytail, I felt Grace untie it.
"Noooo! My haiiirrr..." She started combing it. "Let it down! You always have it up." She complained. "What if a person tries to kill them! I can't have my hair chopped off!!" I retorted. After 5 minutes of me resisting, Grace beat me and she won with me walking out with my black hair flowing behind me.
As we walked downstairs, everyone was coming down as well. "I told you she wouldn't mind." Sebastian said to Ciel. Don't mind? All right. Then he won't mind me stuffing him in a dress..
"All right. Let us head off to the Viscount's manor." Claude said as he held the door open. Everyone walked out and Ciel walked towards me. "Ciel..." I glared at him and he simply looked back with the tiniest smirk.
