Albus Potter and the Flame Phoenix

Chapter 1- The Hogwarts Express 

Albus and his cousin Rose Weasly walked up the scarlet hogwarts express looking for an empty compartment, "this will do," Said Al as they found a compartment with only one person in it. 

"Al, that's Scorpius Malfoy, Draco Malfoys son! We can't share with him Dad told us to stay away from him" Rose pointed out 

"Sure we can who cares what they say I want to meet this Malfoy anyway." Retorted Albus sliding the compartment door open and saying "Mind if we share?" Scorpius's face lit up as he said 

B"Oh please come and sit with me it's terrible lonely here,  I practically know no one here, I'm Malfoy, Scorpius Malfoy!"

"Pleased to meet you Malfoy I'm potter, Albus Potter and this is Weasly, Rose Weasly in fact!" 

"Oh Potter I should have realised you look exactly like Harry Potter, small scrawny and green eyes. And you Weasly well I should have known only a Weasly could have such hair" he scowled.

"Jeeze Malfoy no need to get technical I was only joking me and Wea- I mean- Rose will leave if you want!" 

"Please don't I diddnt mean I was defending my farther- don't go can we start again I'm not my Father I'm me and please don't go Al I can call that right? I can call you  Albus if you prefer please don't go!" Begged Scorpius 

"We won't go don't worry bout it I was just messing with you! Call me Al by the way. What house do you think you'll be sorted into?" Replyed Al

"Slytherin! Hopefully" said Scorpius "what bout you Rose?"

Rose was quiet for sometime, then she said "I don't want to be just another Weasly you know I want to be different, branch out a bit. I spoke to mother about it, she said she would be fine what ever house I'm in!"

"Rose your so clever and bookish I thought ether Gryffindor or Ravinclaw." Reveled Al

"Hmmmm maybe so, I don't want to be in Gryffindor." Stated Rose 

"What bout Slytherin!?" Piped up Scorpius 

"Dunno any ways I wanna be in Ravinclaw." Concluded Rose 

"Ravinclaw is better then Hufflepuff and Gryffindor I suppose. And my dad had a few Ravinclaw friends." Stated Scorpius as if giving Rose his blessing 

"Ravinclaw will suit you." Grinned Al 

"What about you Potter Gryffindor like the rest of your family?" Sneered Scorpius 

"No," whispered al " I'm no Gryffindor I'm a Slytherin just I dunno how my family is gunna react." 

"I knew it!" Sung Scorpius 

They all grinned, they knew they would be friends if all went to plan!

"What wand do you have hey Scorp?" Asked Al 

Scorpius grinned "no-one has ever called me Scorp before," he smiled " but I like it my wand," he pulled it out of his robes  "Is walnut and unicorn hair 12 and 3/4 inches what about you Rose?"

"Pine and dragon heart string 10inches! The best in the shop if you asked me" she Boasted 

"Al?" 

"Phoenix and Elm 14 inches, when's lunch I'm hungry."

"Diddnt you bring sandwiches?" 

" I convenatly left them at home, only realised when we got here mind you, mum gave me 5 gallions though so I'm happy!" 

"Lucky I'll give you half of  hermiones best tuna and sweetcorn sandwiches for half of your money and you get to eat now!" 

"No deal!" 

"Don't you have a houself?" Asked Scorpius 

"No it goes against everything my mum stands for" Rose said 

"I do  Zonkey her name is" revealed Al

" same here Snidy is what mine is Called she made my food today but I have money as well." Said Scorpius 

The trollie came and went and the the Hogwarts Express pulled in at its last and only stop Al felt a pit go nervousness at the bottom of his stomach and he wished he hadn't eaten so much. Now soon he was going to show everyone who he really was. And how his life will go.
