Chapter 19-The Lunch Date

Katerina Kolosov's POV

I blew out a breath and slung my bag over my shoulder and exited class. I had a long break before my next lecture.

Ugh, college. I didn't like studying but I blamed it on Monday blues. It's been about two weeks since the entire Sausage Cucumber Fiasco at my home and it still brought me embarrassment every time I thought about it.

On the other hand, Raphael was greatly amused by it. Now that homework and projects were piling up, I rarely had the time to spend it on my friends and family. It didn't help that I had to work on both Thursday and Friday as well.

I hadn't had a long good chat with Lexi and Savannah nor had I the time to hang out with Raphael. In a way, I guessed that working with him did have perks. I did get to hang out with Raphael although we did have to keep our hands to ourselves seeing that we were working.

In short, I've been way too busy with work and college and I was exhausted. Walking out of class, I was determined to head back to my dorm when a hand grabbed my elbow.

I liked my personal space. In fact, I lived for it. I didn't like people I don't know touching me. Again, I assumed it was something I got from my dad and not my mom. Considering that my mom loved hugging the crap out of anyone she knew.

Feeling irritation and annoyance at whoever was holding me, I turned to snap at said person when a pair of familiar blue eyes stared down at me.

All retorts and snappish comments faded and a grin curled onto my face. "Hey, what are you doing here?"

Raphael shrugged and followed me back to my dorm as he walked beside me. "Finding my girlfriend so that I could take her out for lunch."

"Like a date?"

He shrugged. "Of course. If my girlfriend allows me to." He teased lightly.

Smirking, I turned to him and wrapped an arm around him as now we were back in my dorm room and I lowered his head down. "Well, your girlfriend is quite okay with that."

Raphael smirked before lowering his head so that our lips met. I shut my eyes and hummed in pleasure of the familiarity of his lips against mine and the gentle caress of it made me shiver involuntarily.

He pulled away and rested his forehead against mine and gave me a rugged grin. His blue eyes had some sort of emotion that I couldn't put a name to as he looked down at me and I could feel my heart skip a beat and I blinked in slight fascination. I've never felt this way about anyone before. And somehow, that scared me.

Pulling away abruptly, I straightened up and tossed my curls behind my shoulders. "Well, where are you taking me?" I questioned as I plastered a grin on my face.
