Tyler was coming over tonight for dinner with my whole family. I think I have feelings for him. But I quickly push those thoughts to the back of my head. I start getting ready for the dinner, it is 5:00 and dinner wouldn't be done for another two hours and thirty minutes but I want to be ready. I put on a cropped t-shirt with stripes on it and some dark blue high waisted jeans. I do my makeup really natural but I still like it, I didn't want anyone thinking I made myself all fancy for Tyler. I passed the rest of the time I had left before dinner by listening to Marina and the Diamonds and going on Twitter. Ten minutes before Tyler was supposed to arrive I got really cold so I put on a brown leather jacket with fringe, I love fringe. Soon enough our doorbell rang and not too soon after was it yelled up to my bedroom that dinner was ready.  Our family rarely eats together but I guess we're making an exception for Tyler. Mom made lasagna and garlic bread and salad. I knew that our dog Ben would eat lasagna but sense I didn't want to make a scene I waited for him to come to me. Mom served everything but a few minutes later she had to leave because of an emergency at work so it was just Tyler, Josh, my dad, and I. Ben was hanging around the table begging for scraps when he came to me I carefully used my fork to get a couple pieces of lasagna and let Ben lick it. I wasn't really paying attention to the conversation until Tyler said, "You haven't eaten much, slow eater?" I looked at my plate startled and realized that sense I was being so careful feeding Ben I had barely gotten rid of any food. "No, I'm just not feeling so well," I replied. Because all eyes were on me I wasn't feeding Ben and because I wasn't feeding Ben he started to whine and because Ben started to whine my dad said "Ben, go lay down! You aren't getting any food," and with that Ben went and layed down in the corner of the room. "You know what, I'm really not feeling well, may I be excused?" "But you have barely eaten your meal, you'll be wasting a lot of food," my dad says. "I'll eat it later I promise," "Okay, you should go lay down." As I was started to clear up my spot at the table Tyler's hand was on my leg, that made me look at him, and he looked into my eyes and said "I hope you feel better," I just smiled and nodded back and stood up to finish clearing my spot.
