The party started about an hour ago. Just like Vic had said, everyone was here. I was catching up with Alysha when Jaime came over, drink in hand.
"Hey, Kellin! Long time, no see!" He approached with a slur.
"Uh...hi, Jaime." I said awkwardly.
"You've gained a lot of weight, dude!" He laughed. "You look even uglier than before. Poor Vic. I can't believe your crappy relationship is back in existence."
I looked at him, shocked. They say a person is the most honest when they're drunk. Did I gain a lot of weight? Did I get uglier? Was our relationship crappy?
I didn't know the answers, but part of me felt like Jaime might've been right.
"Jaime, what the fuck?! Go somewhere else with that crap." Alysha yelled.
Jaime just laughed and walked away.
"Are you okay, love? He's not r-"
"I'm gonna go." I interrupted her and got up.
I walked into the house, trying to fight the tears threatening to pour out. Of course, I was going to have to run into Vic. He had a drink in his hand, but he didn't seem drunk. He was just dancing in the living room with other people.
He caught a glance of me and came over. "Hey, what's wrong, baby?" He asked, concerned.
"Nothing, I just-," I stopped. If I would've said anything else, there's no doubt I would have started crying. I didn't like being so vulnerable, but I was a very sensitive person. I didn't want Vic to see me cry. I know that it's a turn off and it made me seem like a baby. It was embarrassing and unattractive.
"Tell me, love." He said, still holding the worried look in his eyes.
"It's just Jaime again, but it's fine. I don't want to cause anything." I smiled weakly.
"You aren't. Do you want to talk about it?" He suggested.
"No. Not now, at least." I told him.
He kissed me softly with a smile.
"Okay. Don't let me forget about this, though. Your feelings are important." He replied.
I nodded my head and my smile brightened. "Thank you. I love you."
"I love you, too. Let's have some fun now."

Vic held my hips as I danced on him. Some people were outside swimming and the others were inside dancing or making out. For example, Gabe and Alex, my friends from work. They had been going at it since they got here. Vic and I had been dancing for about 35 minutes. He was more drunk than I was, but we both had had a fair share of alcohol.
"You're making me horny. Let's go outside." He said bluntly.
I blushed and nodded my head. I took his hand and dragged him outside. There were lots of people in the jacuzzi as well as the pool. One of Vic's friends were doing backflips off the diving board. I think his name was Zach. His friend Rian was jumping off the dive board, too. I looked over at the grassy area, seeing my friend, Jenna, from work and Vic's cousin, Nick. They were playing a game with Nerf water guns. They barely met today, but I could tell that they'd last for sure. The band members and their girlfriends were in the jacuzzi, playing Heads Up. My other friends from work like Tay, Lynn, Alex, Jack, the other Jack, and Justin, were all in the pool. They were having a handstand contest underwater.
"Wanna jump in?" Vic asked.
I nodded and smiled. I took my shoes off and I went to remove my shirt, but Jaime's words replayed in my head.
