(Ok, so it's been a looooooooooooooooooooong time since I last wrote, but I think I have a few ideas ready to go, but you ain't finding out until then. If you seen the last few chapters, you should already know who's POV it is and what's happening. If you don't, then I don't know how you got here, and you should really start at the beginning of this book and actually read it, not skim it. Now, let it begin.)
(Lily's POV)
I continue running away from the village down the mountain, Sam and Matt clutching my sides, while recent events replayed through my mind. First attacking the mysterious duo, then being struck with a mind control dart, and finally the destruction of Ochinika afterwards. It was all a hazy memory after the dart hit me, but only one significant part stuck out. Killing Mother. Her tears had fallen into the ground as I had approached her, still sinking below the earth as I'd pierced her heart, as if I hadn't a care in the world. Now when it comes rushing at me, nothing could stop the hot liquid from running down my face as I ran. It was all over for me."Sissy, why are you cwying? Are you sad?" I turn my head to my left, Sam looking at me anxiously. I set him and Matt down for a moment, so I could rest, and ready to speak to them about a delicate topic. "Sam, I'm alright. I probably just got a little bit of the ash in my eyes." I rub my eyes in emphasis of this, but they still look at me concerned. "Ok, ok, there is something I need to tell you guys, but you'll need to sit near me to listen." They scoot closer, their eyes already sparkling in the weak sunlight, as if anticipating a surprise. You know what? I'll tell them another time. I don't want to hurt them.
I whisper softly, "Ok guys. We're going to..........................." I hold out it out to be dramatic. "Grandma Kimber's house!" They scream in delight. "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Over the river and through the woods, to Grandmother's house we go! Hahahahahahahaha!" They sing in their squeaky little voices, happiness having taken over any doubtful thoughts in their heads. I mean, Grandma Kimber is a wonderful woman and all, but this was also a sour moment for me.
Matt breaks away from jumping in excitement with Sam, asking in a low tone, "This is great and all, but will Mother be joining us?" I freeze and rack my brain for answers, then put my finger to his lips. I face away to the burning village in the distance, mumbling, "I'll tell you in a moment." I then raise my voice, "Sam if you want to go, you're going to need to listen to me along with Matt. There's something else you both need to know." He flops down in exhaustion next to his brother, looking to me expectantly.
"Little Fox, Baby Bear, Mother isn't going with us. She is going to be in Turloise for a bit, since there are other people applying for the job, and it might take a bit for Mother awhile to be able to convince them to give her the job. But it shouldn't take her too long, so don't worry."
They sigh, then sit up with their green eyes gleaming in faint light of the sunset behind us. I hope they aren't too disappointed, though heat I saidMatt walks over to me and puts his small hand on my shoulder. Sam follows suit putting his chubby hand on my other shoulder. Matt grins, "It's okay Sissy, we can wait for Mother to join us eventually. Until then, we can still have loads of fun with Granny Kimber." Sam pipes up, "Uh huh! Until Mummy comes, we can have lots of fwun with Gwanny!" I smile at their encouraging words.
"Alright, thanks guys. Now we better get on our way, or it'll be dark when we get there." They laugh at this, then hop onto my back. Sam remarks in a light tone of voice, "But you fworgot Sissy, you are the one taking us there!" I chuckle at this, then hike them up higher on my back. "I knew that, now let's go!" I race down the mountain, the twins giggling on my back. I wish this moment could last forever, the three of us laughing and joking for hours on end. But I fear this may be one of the last ones moments we will share together for a long time.
A/N - Hey peeps! Actually, do you mind if I call you guys mah peeps? If you would like to, suggest a name I could call you guys other then peeps in the comments, especially since Easter is pretty much over. But seriously, I finally was able to come up with some ideas to write, and this won't be like last time. It's also been almost 2 weeks since I last posted something on here, so sorry about that.
Something I want to address is HOW THE HECK DO I ALREADY HAVE 250+ READS ON HERE? Oh dear, that was a little loud, but Oh My Irene! I know that may not be a lot for some, but I consider that a lot. Also, cliffhanger! You'll just have to wait a little a little longer, and I can't tell you what happens next. Muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Darn, now I feel evil. Oh well. Now I'm rambling.
And sorry this chapter was a little shorter then normal, but I finally got on track, and it's been awhile. Anywho, thanks for reading this latest chapter of Lily's Visions, and I'll see y'all later.
