This song is called day tripper by the Beatles and is about the day long journey the characters have been on how it was only yesterday they were all in school.

Sealy:

"So what are we doing?" Asked John."I think we should go back to the village to see if there is any survivors that we can help,"I replied."Yes a great idea Sealy!," yelped Sam. "Let's go then," Frit drooped. "Wait who is looking after you?" I asked "I'll do it," Jerdin replied.I looked around hoping someone would take his place- I didn't know if I could trust him yet but no one did so with a swift nod of my head we set off. When we reached the surface I could not bear to look: the school once a place of peace and prosperity was now no longer a thing with the left overs of the school spread across the road like jam would be spread across bread. All of the trees had fallen down like a row of dominos and under it I could see a crow's body. Clouds smothered the milky sky in a dull grey. The Sun peeked from behind the curtain clouds. Smiling,Lizzie turned her face to the Sun and soaked up the warmth before turning in the way of the village and walking away muttering that she needed to find her brother. If she found her brother, he could be dead or alive. For Lizzie I hoped the latter.Reluctantly due to the fact we were tired we started to trudge towards the village. We used to be able to see the church spire from the school but now we saw nothing. My brain was now bored of thinking I just wanted to sleep but I still went on not knowing how long we would be walking for.I counted the trees lining up to the start of the village.

Wait what was that in the distance? A figure small and slow.Shuffling towards,he seemed to be injured with one trouser leg up and the other loosely around his ankle. He was only a shadow in the dying sunset yet you could tell his expression.Happy, though cautious, he wearily stepped towards us.The familiar smile I saw I had seen once before but on a larger figure tall and slim with a shy character but now was running in front of us bonding like a hare. With each step, she was closer to the the small guy in the distance. Then I realised. It was him, her brother.I could only think of three words of my appreciation : thank the Lord! .Now I had started running to catch up with her, to let everything out.I felt like I was flying through the sky.Smiling,I landed on the ground ready to take my next bound ...Taking it I felt the air beneath my feet and the freedom we had gained.Once again I landed to jump up again.
But I stumbled and tripped planting myself on the ground instead.

My head thronged and my heart pounded like I was a drum.My knee twitched and pulsed like it was full with electricity.I felt my hair statically stand on my head and I heard a sudden rip of fabric. The knee that was cold and dripping with blood was being bandaged by someone using something.I looked at the kind face staring down at me.Twinkling, his eyes reflected the fear he had for me ,eventhough the cut on my knee wasn't anything major.Quickly, his soft hands wrapped the cloth around my leg stopping much blood from escaping. His hands were like feathers tracing the cut on my knee,
temporarily making the pain go away,
making my heart beat quicker whilst everything seemed to slow down.

It was Sam.
